Perfect location and a wonderful host! Far enough away from downtown for privacy, but close enough where it’s easy to get to everything (downtown Traverse City, Old Mission wineries, etc) also there’s a very nice walking path in the back, which is a great way to start the morning. Highly recommend!

Wow! if I could turn my car around and go right back to Miriah's place, I would do it in a heartbeat! We took our 3 kids for a quick Fall Break trip to Elk Rapids and we all fell in love with Miriah's place and this amazing little town. The house is a perfect layout for families, with lots of common spaces to hang out together AND enough sitting nooks for people to find quiet places to read and relax too. The kitchen has got to be the most well stocked Airbnb kitchen I've ever been to. Next time, I'll plan to cook more because now I know Miriah's house literally has EVERYTHING you might need to cook and serve a big group. The house was spotlessly clean, the furniture was super comfy and we slept super well. We loved walking to the beach, playing at the playground, watching people catch fish by the dam, walking to the shops in town, and enjoying the incredible views. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved our stay in this beautiful house! It's even better in person than the photos - and the photos are pretty great! Perfect location - peaceful and secluded but not far from anything. Melissa was amazing and communicated quickly when any question arose - we were able to check in early and check out late which was an awesome benefit with wine in the car! The amenities are perfection: such a well-stocked kitchen and a pristinely clean bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and the character throughout this lovely old granary really made it a stand out. The location is central to many wineries, breweries and great restaurants - we never felt far from anything but it was so quiet and peaceful to be surrounded by fields and so much green! The hot tub was an amazing bonus and we used it on an unexpectedly cold May night. We loved our stay at the Hoxie Homestead. The location was central to all of northern Michigan’s cute towns and beaches. The property was clean and well laid-out. Loved the decor, and the master bed was super comfy and soft. The hot tub and sauna were perfect. We would certainly stay again.

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

What's so cool about this place is how flexible it is. I could bring my friends here for an adult weekend and never run out of things to do, or I could bring my toddler here and (with a baby gate over the stairs) she'd be safe with tons to do. I have to echo what all the other reviews say: the place was spotless and super welcoming, peaceful and private, fantastic amenities all in perfect condition, with tons to do in the house and in the surrounding areas. The host was wonderful, proactive and helpful and friendly and engaged. Every inch of the place shows her thoughtfulness, from the tasteful decor to the light bulbs with hue tuned to each space. All in all: perfect. I can't wait to come back again and again.

We cannot say enough good things about your stay & Beth! My family was in town for our wedding & Beth was more than accommodating with early check in so we could get things going! While I had a busy weekend as the bride, Beth sent multiple messages checking in on us & letting us know if we needed anything to just reach out! Even my mother mentioned how amazing that the home had everything stocked & we didn’t need to bring a thing! Something that not every Airbnb offers. The home looked right out at the water, it was updated and such stunning features, lots of spacious areas & rooms, and truly the perfect place to reset during a busy weekend! We hope to stay with Beth at this stunning home again on our next trip to Traverse!

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend away at Paula's unique property. We ate at a few of the restaurants; it was nice having multiple options nearby. We went hiking and explored the beautiful grounds. We also enjoyed some time on the porch. I would definitely stay at Paula's place again!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, quiet neighborhood, close to town and lake. Overall, a nice place to stay, reasonably priced.

Great location with a super host. Only small issues — no freezer for the ice pad we need for a knee issue and, the bed, though comfortable is insanely high — even with a step stool was tough for my five foot wife to get in and out of. Super thick mattress plus a couple inch topper. Incredibly well stocked and super clean. Parking was a breeze and the front deck was a real nice bonus. Wonderful experience.

Perfect location...an easy walk to stores, restaurants, breweries and the bay. Bike path is just a couple blocks away. Very clean and spacious. Well equipped from the breakfast bars and coffee (much appreciated!) to plush towels (and lots of them!) Absolutely love the decor!

This place was amazing! Right by the action but still felt private. It has everything you need for a great stay. The hosts were responsive kind and flexible with us. Couldn’t have been better!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo in the Traverse City Commons! The space was incredibly spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location is fantastic—quiet, charming, and close to everything, yet still feels tucked away. For the size and quality of the condo, it’s a surprisingly affordable find. Definitely a hidden gem—we’ll be recommending it to friends and would love to stay again!

There’s something magical about Shanty Creek. It’s our little escape each year, and this visit was just what we needed. Mornings with coffee, evenings with sunsets—those peaceful balcony views never get old. The space is cozy, calm, and always feels like a gentle pause from the world. It gave us room to breathe, rest, and just be. Cheryl was a fantastic host who communicated with perfect detail and the space was our perfect getaway. We are already dreaming of next year’s visit!

We really enjoyed Benjamin's place. Although we did not have children, the extra touches to make one comfortable were thoughtful. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bathroom amenities and welcome basket a pleasant extra touch! We were enjoyed both a morning and evening walk and was nice to not have a permanent parking spot for the weekend!
