I booked the place for its location and it completely delivered on that. It is right in front of the pyramids and I was able to see them from my room as well as the rooftop. The light show was clearly visible from the rooftop and I immensely enjoyed the stay. They helped with a luggage issue I had with the airlines and were helpful in arranging food according to preference.

L’endroit parfait pour séjourner au Caire. Le quartier est central, calme mais vivant. Parfait pour sortir dîner le soir, on s’y promène facilement à pied. L’appartement est chaleureux, bien décoré. Et surtout l’accueil de Martine est au top : nous avons reçu plein de bons conseils pour les visites, les restaurants etc. J’y retournerai avec plaisir si je reviens au Caire !

If your dream it to be close to the pyramids . This is the place right for you. From this hotel you can also see the sound and light show and you will enjoy the beauty from the pyramids. at night is amazing . Strongly recommended

Som at have et extra hjem. Vi blev taget utrolig godt imod og sådan fortsatte det hele tiden. Martiné er fantastisk sød og mild. Vi nød både terrassen, den dejlige morgenmad, med hjemmelavet marmelade og det gode værelse. Vagterne i hall’en var meget venlige og opmærksomme og bød os endda at smage på lokal mad - en eftermiddag. Egypten har været fantastisk! Det var vildt at opleve, at jeg tabte min pung i en Uber, men chaufføren, kom tilbage med den næste dag og afleverede den personligt.

Hele fijne locatie om vanuit hier de stad te verkennen. Het ligt in de buurt van ambassadeurs, dit zorgt voor een rustige en veilige omgeving. Er heerst een kalmte die je in de stad niet terug vind. Nesr stond altijd voor ons klaar, al was het met het ontbijt, tips of vragen. Geweldige host!

Chez Martine was absolutely nice place to stay. As I was travelling as a solo woman the area felt safe (to walk even it was dark alreaf) and was peaceful compared to center. Shower had hot water which was nice as it was bit chilly on February. Mr. Nasser was very friendly. what I really liked was the atmosphere, the flat was very specially decorated.

Ich war nun schon zum dritten Mal in Bayt Yakan – und jedes Mal fühlt es sich ein bisschen mehr wie ein zweites Zuhause an. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Altstadt von Kairo in einem wunderschönen, traditionellen Haus, das mit so viel Liebe zum Detail restauriert wurde. Man spürt förmlich die Geschichte und gleichzeitig den Komfort, den man sich auf einer Reise wünscht. Was Bayt Yakan für mich besonders macht, ist die Atmosphäre: warm, herzlich, authentisch. Das Team ist unglaublich gastfreundlich – man wird nicht nur aufgenommen, sondern wirklich willkommen geheißen. Das Frühstück ist jedes Mal ein Highlight – frisch, vielseitig und typisch ägyptisch. Dieses Mal hatte ich sogar die Gelegenheit, dort zu Abend zu essen, mit traditionellem, hausgemachtem Essen, das nicht nur köstlich war, sondern auch ein echtes kulturelles Erlebnis. Immer wenn ich nach Kairo reise, gibt es keinen anderen Ort, an dem ich wohnen möchte.

체크인했을때 만났던 리셉션 스태프가 너무 친절했고 방을 무료 업그레이드 해줘서 이집트에서 마지막 숙소로 정말 편하게 있다 갈 수 있었습니다. 사진보다도 정말 시설이 좋았고, 침실, 로비, 욕실 전부 청결했습니다.👍👍 가성비 대박인 이곳을 적극 추천해요! 위치도 대박

Wir sind 4 Tage in Kairo gewesen. El-Darb El Ahmar ist ein ärmliches Viertel von Kairo, das trotz seiner Armut sehr sicher ist. Es gilt nicht als touristisch. Wir haben auch kaum Touristen gesehen. Ägypter beglückwünschten uns dazu, hier eine Unterkunft zu buchen, denn hier würden wir alt-ägytisches Leben zu sehen bekommen. Es ist ein Gewimmel mit vielen kleinen Buden, Handwerkern, sehr vielen Tuk-Tuks, Vespas und freundlichen Menschen. Da es sehr viele Moscheen gibt, sind die Muezzins sehr laut zu hören. Es fühlte sich an wie eine Zeitreise. Wir haben uns äußerst sicher und willkommen gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin Sara hat uns außerdem in allen Wünschen (z.B. Abholung vom Flughafen) perfekt geholfen.

The property is an inexpensive hotel with a very friendly and responsive staff. I arrived at 10 pm at night and, at first, was intimidated by the busy streets and crowds. But I soon realized that the neighborhood was 100% safe. At 11:30 pm there were mothers and their children walking the neighborhood. It was a good experience. I felt what it was like to be a part of the local community. The people in the streets are nice and respectable. It's a decent and respectful spirit in the air. Yeah, okay, the room wasn't crystal clean, but for $12 dollars I was completely satisfied. And the air condition worked and was cold! I wasn't there for the room. I was there to meet the locals and find a couple synagogues. And that mission was successful. Also, Haitham and his staff were there for me at all times. If you want a clear vision of down to earth Cairo, then here it is. Enjoy the spiritual journey and the kindnesses and respectful behavior of the locals. Shalom!

La posizione è ottima, proprio di fronte alla Piramidi. Colazione tipica, buona e fatta sul momento con un panorama mozzafiato! Camera con tutto il necessario e ben pulita, perfetta per un buon relax. Posto consigliato soprattutto per chi, turista come noi, vuole visitare le Piramidi di Giza.

Le logement est tres proches des pyramides. Situé au 6eme avec ascenseur, on arrive dans le hall de l'hôtel puis notre chambre. Il s'agit d'une grande chambre de deux lits et d'une salle de douche. L'accueil est au top et j'ai eu des conseils pour les organiser les visites.

Es el lugar ideal para despertar por la mañana admirando las pirámides y la esfinge de Giza, por las noches es el lugar perfecto para ver el show de luces sobre los mismos. La atención es excelente, muy buena predisposición para todo. La pasé muy bien y, sin dudas volvería a elegirlo.

我在埃及最美好的时光之一，楼上可以看到三座大金字塔，还有沙发可以躺着看日落，房东一家人很好，妈妈做的饭很好吃，房间很大也很干净，房东是一个穆斯林女生，但读了硕士，英语特别流利，非常厉害，我入住的时间是我的生日，她还送了我一个很精致的蛋糕，非常感动，非常感谢，我会永远记得！！！！

Old cairo by pyramids- great views- know you will be in a older area. Learn to say no thank-you and just be polite. Great stay and friendly staff…will be back.
