The Garden View room we had was really cozy with a very spacious and comfortable bed! The woodwork of this room makes it very charming. The small backyard for drying clothes was really useful as well as the provision of drinking water in big containers. The location itself is a wonderful, green oasis with plenty of space to relax either in the garden or at the beach. We really appreciated the recycling system, which is rare to find elsewhere in Dahab and the fact that the drinks in the restaurant came with paper straws instead of plastic ones! The staff was super friendly, helpful and cared a lot about cleaning. There were some noisy construction works during our first days and we kindly got snorkeling gear for free as a compensation. Two minor issues: the fridge in the room is quite noisy, but we simply switched it off during night and the mosquito net, which was nicely built as a seperate door, did not completely seal it, so we had mosquitoes in the room every night.

Very good place, cheaper and excellent for this price

A charming hotel of yesteryear at the bottom of a peaceful cul-de-sac. An oasis of greenery and plants with beautiful flowers. Stunning views of the Nile and Luxor Temple on the highest terrace. A hearty, local breakfast. A very pleasant swimming pool during hot weather. Shaded corners under lemon trees. Adorable , discreet and efficient staff! I loved the mosquito nets that protect the beds. Fans and air conditioning are a must in August. The hotel enjoys an exceptional situation: not far from the ferry to cross (you arrive directly at the Museum when you get off the ferry, Karnak is on the left , Luxor and the souk on the right) , Hamada Market is just a stone's throw away as well as an agency to book the hot air balloon. Nearby you will find a multitude of restaurants and take away... You can even find donkeys to take a walk in the surrounding countryside! But if you want to eat at the hotel, you can...

Mohamed was a very nice and caring host, allowing us to check in late at night and making us breakfast, on request, even on the day of check out. The room is located on the ground floor, so it is very comfortable with suitcases, and has a private bathroom. It is small but clean and equipped with every comfort: fridge, hairdryer, hot water in the bathroom, kettle for making tea. We are satisfied with our stay at Mohamed's and recommend it!

The most wonderful stylish, small hotel in the leafy Maadi district, housed in a beautiful villa with lush, peaceful garden, outdoor restaurant and pool area. It's a real haven of calm. The rooms are filled with beautiful antiques, paintings and oriental lamps. The bed was very comfortable, I slept really well. Service is friendly, attentive and very professional. I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Kato Dool Wellness Resort was splendid! Worth every dollar. It's in the Nubian Village and will introduce you to the intersection of Egyptian and Nubian cultural history. It's a very colorful place, and we felt immediately at peace in this very tranquil and comfortable place. The staff was extremely professional and attentive, responsive and helpful. The rooms were extremely comfortable, quiet, and with an amazing view, with one of the best beds that I've ever been lucky enough to sleep in... and that infinity pool was incredible too! Super tasty food, especially the tajine, made with pure magic. This place recharged us, gave us energy, and helped bring us calm in the middle of the Egyptian desert and we definitely didn't want to leave. We will miss this place for sure and if you're considering a stay here at this hotel, know that you absolutely won't regret it. Was amazing! 🤩 A+ 10/10

Wonderful 5 night stay in Hurghada. We could not have hoped for the last stop of our trip to Egypt. Fouad booked us a room with a balcony when we didn't originally have one in the description, which we greatly appreciated. The room was impeccable, clean, with the essentials to feel good. The hotel's massages are divine, Swiss Welness is close to everything: local shops, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, beaches, etc. We recommend this hotel without a second thought if you want to rest after a long trip to this beautiful country. Be careful though: there are several Swiss Hotel in Hurghada, this one is located towards Tito's Marine, if you have to indicate it to a taxi, it's easier for them to spot. Bassam assist us a lot, arrange the west and East bank guided tour, hot air ballon, camel ride and all the transportation. We took a sunset walk through the farm land nearby as well. Very nice experience

Staying at Ahmed's was simply amazing. It worked exactly as I imagine an Airbnb should - Ahmed chatted with us about local customs, culture, and interesting facts. He gave us plenty of great tips on where to go and was always there to help. The airline canceled our flights back, and Ahmed took care of rebooking our tickets for us! Everything was clean, the room had a beautiful view of the reservoir, the Temple of the Goddess Isis, and the boats. Thank you!

Very clean, tidy newly refurbished hostel with very pleasant and helpful hosts. Amazing pyramid view from the lounge and almost every room (only the triple room does not have it). They provide amazing continental and oriental breakfast and were very flexible when we asked to adjust the breakfast to our vegan needs (we had amazing falafel, babaganush and foul).

The property is incredibly clean, with quality furniture and fittings. Bathrooms are immaculately clean. Wifi was a bit spotty. The property is best for somebody who wants to Uber to attractions as the surroundings are Ubers are around $3 each to Pyramids, Grand Egyptian Museum and $6 to Cairo Citadel. The area is not suited to somebody who wants to take an evening walk to quality restaurants. For the price it is perfect for somebody who needs a safe, super clean, cheap base from which to explore Cairo. That is what I wanted and that is what Mohammed gave me. I would stay there again.

Desert Moon is a special place. A great location with view with the pyramids, they will make you feel like home, genuine care and so helpful in everything. Dr Mohamed the owner arrange everything for me, since the pick up from the airport to every single experience in Cairo and Luxor, really a great man. The experience that I got, honestly, I will take it for a life. Thank you 🙏🏻

Very clean place and Ahmed was very helpful all the time. It’s in a very strategic point and cost vs what you get is really incredible!

There’s no words to describe how good this place is. But the most fitting description I can find is… “THE HIDDEN GEM”

We had a good time, very inexpensive! At the reception you could book cheap day trips, including transfer. There was still a small gym, which you were allowed to use and through the private beach access, you were not annoyed there by sellers. In general, all staff were very kind and accommodating!

I would definitely recommend Mahmoud hostel. The pyramids views from our room balcony and roof top where we have our breakfast was breathtaking. He did an amazing job in our giza and Cairo tour. He picked us up in the train station, helped us on buy the stuff we need during the duration of our travel ( adapter, food and even printing our train tickets) and accompanied us throughout our tour in the city. His friend Paulo is very knowledgeable in Egypt history and architecture. They really go out of the way to entertain us in our request. We wouldn't have make it our schedule train ride to aswan without Mahmoud’s fast driving skills and paulo’s navigation.😂. Thank you so much guys. 😁😁
