Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Efate

This was just what I wanted! A week in the middle of nowhere with good internet for a working holiday. Since it is so isolated, I had my taxi driver stop at the grocery store for breakfast foods on my way to Banana Bay and brought lots of my own snacks for lunch and then just ate dinner on site. The restaurant food was good, but mostly pizzas and burgers/sandwiches, so I was wishing there was a bit more variety by the end of the week, but I am not a big foodie, so no real complaints. (And the veggie pizza and the Aussie burger were my favorites, so definitely give those a try if you can!) Since I did not have a car, I hired Greg from EBikes Vanuatu one day for a scooter ride around parts of the island and that was super fun! I highly recommend! Overall, I would for sure come back and probably spend 4 nights there and 2 nights in town for a bit more variety. But it was a lovely stay all in all and Kris and her mum Carollynne were fantastic hosts!

Welcomed by Agnes and her smiles made our stay promising and lovely! Sunset view is guaranteed and well ventilated home. Agnes is helpful and responsive during the stay, so as the team with the booking and procedures of check-in. Highly recommended and looking forward to visiting again for the post-earthquake recovery of Vanuatu! Bless Vanuatu and stay safe!!!

Everything positive that others have written about Carmen and her place is true. When you arrive in a new country, the best thing is to be greeted at the airport by a friendly face and taken to accommodation that has all of your needs catered for, right down to there being breakfast supplies… and that what we got from this Airbnb. We only stayed one night, so I can’t really comment on the location - although the taco restaurant up the road had some nice food. Thank you Carmen and Roger

Our incredible holiday in Vanuatu was cut short by the earthquake (Dec 2024) but we were very lucky as the staff at paradise point went out of their way to assist us and make sure we were safe. Thank you so much and also to the driver/tour guide recommended by our host who was with us during the earthquake and helped us. The local people were so happy and friendly throughout our stay and we hope that many more people will visit Port Vila when it is safe to do so. We loved our short boat trips from town to the house and back which were affordable and a lot of fun. They are a great option and will be essential to access the house until the road is repaired. Namele Villas are spectacular and our family had an amazing holiday here. The Villas are fully equipped with all the necessities. The location is very close to town, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. We spent the days by the pool and snorkelling in the ocean discovering the beautiful fish and coral on the reef - with lots of equipment provided including kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel gear. Deborah was a very gracious and attentive host and Robert was very helpful during our stay. Thank you for an amazing holiday!

from our initial booking request to his personal farewell at checkout, owner Colin was always on hand with great recommendations, a detailed compendium and just letting us "be" at our own peral whilst at Watermark. our island hosts, Nolan & Fanny, was just a short walk (or text) away to give further insight to Moso Island and its Ni-Van, while we also got the most delectable home made meals delivered from Fanny's Kitchen! you can spend the whole day admiring the craftsmanship of Watermark from the verandah, snorkel up & down the house reef, have a stroll to the nearby Tasseriki- & Sunaï villages, go turtle & dugong spotting or try kava at a local nakamal (Bamboo bar's the best)... whatever you do, just book, you will most definitely find paradise!

Frank and Dee are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Great to chat with and can offer plenty of local recommendations. The Airbnb is clean, very spacious and well equipped for cooking if needed. Massive pool and views over the bay. Walk to the end of the road and then get local buses for the 5 minute trip into town, or call a local driver. We also did Frank’s off-road adventure buggy tour which was heaps of fun! 🤩

Amazing stay, an absolute slice of paradise. Colin was an amazing host, and his place is one you shouldn’t miss. Situated on the beach, direct access to some beautiful snorkeling right out the front.

Sarka's place is indeed an oasis - it is quiet and peaceful and well removed from the main road. The gardens are lovely and the super clean pool was a fantastic way to cool off a bit. We slept well. And Sarka kindly left us a bowl of fresh fruit. Recommended!
