Fantastic place to stay for both young and old! We especially enjoyed all of the games/activities in the lower level - perfect to keep 4 toddlers busy! Katherine’s place was incredibly clean; the location is secluded but still close to Eau Claire - would definitely stay here again!

Sarah was very helpful, friendly and good at giving instructions which helped to make everything easier for us. The house was very clean and organized and so was the yard. Very neat having the little pond in between the house and the lake there was so much wildlife there. It was so neat to watch from the house. I love that this place was pet friendly and we didn’t have to leave our dog at home. He was able to come with us and enjoy everything too. I will be recommending this place to friends and family. And I’m even interested in renting it again in the future. It’s a very lovely place to stay.

Exactly as advertised. Access and entry were a breeze. House was clean and comfortable from the minute you walk in. Exactly what was needed after a long day of travel. Great location to access anything in EC and the surrounding neighborhood is very quite and peaceful.

Great place to stay! Cozy and quiet with an amazing view of the lake off the rear deck and from the ample windows. I went just after Christmas and the lake was frozen over. There were folks ice fishing everyday. The home was so charming. the kitchen was well stocked. the access to the lake was perfect. I could see the value of staying there summer or winter. It's just a few minutes to the grocery, gas, and restaurants. Would stay there again.

Our family wanted a peaceful getaway where we can bond and relax. We also had our German Shepherd dog and we all had a great time. The place is very comfortable clean and so cozy. There was so much space that we could’ve brought more family members. I love that it all of the windows had a perfect view of the lake. The host thought of everything from extra linen to all of our baking and cooking needs to seating out near the lake. We totally enjoyed the vanilla caramel tea. She was also very responsive to messages and questions that I had. And the welcome basket with cookies and candy was such a nice touch. I highly recommend this place if you plan on getting away with family and friends!

Cool place to hang out on the lake. Lots of things to do from kayaks, and fishing to bonfires or playing pool in the garage. Lots of space so we never felt cramped. Neighborhood was quiet and it really was peaceful in the mornings! Will definitely stay here again.

We wish to thank our hosts Lisa and Sandy,the housekeepers Charlotte and Jamie for a most magnificent stay. We chose The Otter Creek Inn for large accommodations privacy. beautiful grounds , convenient location. perfect hosts and we were not disappointed. Above and beyond. Pristine house. Plenty of coffee. great locations. We also recommend The Altoona Family restaurant only .5 miles away. Also 5 star. We were a party of 10 .All were very happy here.. We'd return in a heartbeat. Lovely, friendly hosts.

The Inn is so beautiful! In the evening the backyard is lit with lights and there is a beautiful fountain. The architecture is wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised to find wine and snacks available in the living room. Breakfast was like dining in a fine restaurant. I highly recommend the Otter Creek Inn.

Loved my stay there ! It’s close to the hospital so I stay when I have treatment I bring a book and soak an amazing bubble bath . It’s close to good restaurants and it was so clean and the breakfast is to die for so good . Love that it’s a kid free area and you can honestly relax . Definitely will be back again soon . Thanks Lisa for the great night .

Our stay at Legacy Farm was perfect! The rental is very clean, perfectly equipped and Andy was great with communication. The game room, decor, pool table and petting the horses were our favorite things. We were even greeted by a deer by the woods the morning we departed. So lovely and peaceful! Loved this place so much!! Coty was amazing to work with and the house was just beautiful. We had the best time and I loved the charm and character of the house as well as all the room too!! Would definitely come back here again!!!

The Oxbow House: Dreamy Downtown Duplex

Absolute gem in downtown Eau Claire! This place is walkable to so many restaurants, the farmer’s market, the BEST co-op, and nightlife - but is somehow also hidden away on a quiet street. The furniture and decor is sooo fun, feels like a boutique hotel but with the privacy of a home. The space is totally different from other places, and was a super fun space to hang with friends and cozy up at night. Comfy, clean, and all the amenities you need. Really great hosts and a super unique find. We will be back! ❤️

It was perfect. From the sandy beach, and great house layout to the well-stocked kitchen. We met as a family with children ages 6 months to 60, and there was something for everyone. You can watch or play in the river's beauty, but you can also reach downtown specialty stores, a wide variety of restaurants, big box stores, wonderful trails, and parks all within minutes. Thankful for Jaci's quick response - she was wonderful to work with. We highly recommend this lodging!

Brooke was welcoming and always responsive to communications. The house is a lovely, well-maintained, comfortable older home that has been updated with modern conveniences while keeping its charm and decorated with lovely vintage touches. Quiet, walkable neighborhood that is close to a park and connects with the trail system. Wish the weather had been warmer so I could have enjoyed the deck, outside dining table, and yard.

The entrance of a red bungalow is framed by a concrete walkway leading to a door with glass panels. A black railing provides support alongside the steps. Natural landscaping features rocks and plants, enhancing the welcoming appearance of the home.

What a gem! 💎 If you have dogs or kids and are looking for a beautiful and tranquil location that is surrounded by trails and a river, this is it! The entire property has been newly renovated. The beds were more comfortable than my own at home, every tiny detail has been thought of, and it was cleaned to perfection. Not far from restaurants and downtown Eau Claire. 10/10, would recommend.

We had a wonderful long weekend. This place is great! There were four of us and the house was the perfect size. Very nicely furnished and the beds were very comfortable. We were very impressed with Andy and the caretaker Shane. They were right on top of things. On our second night there we had a power outage. We let Andy know and he got in contact with the caretaker Shane and gave him our phone number. Shane was right on top of it with continuous updates as this was not just the house without power but the whole neighborhood. We cannot say enough good things about these two and the way this was handled, they were great! We highly recommend this house. We will be back again!
