Come stay in our apartment connected to the barn on our active working farm. We are located 3 miles from the state capitol building in Montpelier, but you would never know it up here. You can cross country ski, snowshoe, hike, or bike out your front door, and we are located within 45 min. from Sugarbush, Stowe, Mad River Glen, & Bolton Valley. You can also check out the local beer & spirits scene, or just relax at the farm. Guests are always welcome to tour the grounds and see the animals.

After a fun day enjoying local trails, shops, mountains, and more—a table inside or outside awaits a meal to be shared with all.

Prepare simple meals in the kitchenette, or head out to local restaurants within a ten minute drive. Enjoy being comfortable while close to nature. Guests love the comfortable bed, and the pullout futon makes it an affordable option for families. Nearby walking trails, swimming holes, mountain biking, gravel biking out the door, and cross-country ski areas nearby. Fire pit with wood provided.

This charming space includes a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with a claw foot tub/shower. Two queen beds, air mattress & futon mattress. 12 mi. to Montpelier and 7 mi. in the opposite direction to Lake Elmore, 4 miles to Worcester Trailhead and 6 miles to Hunger Mt! Sitting on our 200 acre estate this authentic barn offers our guests a chance to relax in the beautiful rolling hills of Vermont. Access the vast majority of our historic Stowe area land -- from our apple orchards to our extensive walking paths in fields and woodland. Lovely 2-bedroom close to everything, Potter’s Place is the perfect hub for your stay in Vermont. Only 30-40 minutes to Stowe, Bolton, Sugarbush, and plenty of amazing Nordic trails, the space provides a welcoming retreat after a day of skiing, hiking, or biking. If biking is your thing, the apartment backs up to the Cross Vermont Trail, and is a great jumping off point for adventure. The apartment is also a short (10-15 minute) walk to downtown and all the shops on Main and State Street.

Lay in bed and look out the huge picture window at the farm. You might see cats climbing trees, hummingbirds, snowflakes falling, lightning storms and many more beautiful moments. We have a Wolf, don't be alarmed she is as friendly as can be and will greet you and escort you to the cabin. If you like nature, animals, walking in the forest, cuddling up by the wood stove, then this is the place for you. The cabin is surrounded by gorgeous perennial gardens.
