Hotel vacation rentals in East Lombok Regency

Mata Lodge was a super special place for us. We went to Lombok to spend a week for my girlfriends birthday (she likes quiet, simple environments with lots of nature) and we got that and then some. Hannah, Yudda, and Danny were amazing hosts, making us feel at home from the moment we booked. The place is really situated in the rice fields right below Rinjani. We ended up leaving our bikes at the property and just walked to nearby spots or explored on foot. My recommendations for the area: Warung Ilma (hands down the best Indonesian food I’ve ever had), Imas Cafe for working (still in walking distance), SRC mart in the middle of Tetebatu for groceries and small goods. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Mata Lodge. I’m stoked they’re still building new things out (pool, coffee and work corner) and can’t wait to go back and relax there again. If you come across this place, odds are you like going off the beaten path. If that’s the case, book now and thank yourself later.

The room was spotless, peaceful and the view was absolutely stunning. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer, but unfortunately, I had to move on to Senggigi the next day. Its a bit far from nearest shop or the main road but still I'll definitely return when I visit Lombok again😊

Jihan ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, wir haben uns direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Lage ist super, wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung sucht und Sterne beobachten möchte oder in der Gegend wandern möchte. Dementsprechend liegt die Unterkunft etwas abgelegen, wenn man einkaufen möchte braucht man einen Roller, den man vor Ort mieten kann. Getränke sind aber auch vor Ort und können zu fairen Preisen gekauft werden. Das Essen ist immer frisch und schmeckt super. Wenn wir Lombok nochmal besuchen werden wir wieder kommen

bon rapport qualité-prix dans l'ensemble, très bon accueil et des super petit déjeuner, j'ai même pu manger en famille après la journée du Ramadan, il peut vous aider à faire tout type de sortie, manque peut-être une de lumière et le matelas c'est des ressorts ça pourrait être amélioré

Landscapes and night sounds are beautiful. the home is in the middle of rice fields and forest. there is a nice swimming pool that look like in the middle of the forest. Woody gave us a lot of useful information and helped us a lot and we felt like at home. They received us at his home, we were like in our family. They treated us wonderful! we went with our daughter of 4 years and everybody was taking care of her and the children of the villagewere playing with her. it's a great place to come with children.

Goede tijd gehad, goede service. Huisje was goed schoon en echt allemaal goed voor elkaar.

Die Unterkunft sieht aus wie auf den Bildern, nur leider gab es die süßen Fahrräder, die auf dem Bild zusehen sind nicht, sondern es waren gelbe. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super, man kann alle coolen Restaurants auch zu Fuß schnell erreichen. Allerdings war sie am Anfang etwas schwer zu finden. Leider ist sie etwas nah an einer Moschee, weshalb man die Gebete recht laut hört. Ansonsten war das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch die Kommunikation mit Regula lief super. Das Frühstück hat leider recht lange gedauert, aber sonst war alles sehr toll und wir hatten die gesamte Unterkunft sogar für uns.

lovely homestay with Kartini’s family and the food was amazing. the traditional sasuk houses were well designed and had all the amenities needed although it gets slightly hotter during the day. The little balcony up top was a great addition for viewing the crown of Rinjani. the garden out front was beautiful as well. really enjoyed my time there, Kartini and her family were lovely kind folks ☺︎

We had a really amazing stay at Poetri Bungalows, Ita was so helpful she went above and beyond to make us comfortable and to help us with our activities. We stayed here as we were climbing Mount Rinjani, she called the tour company for us to make sure everything was good (you can actually book tours through her too, but we had already booked ours online) she recommended local places, she stored our bags while we climbed the mountain and organised a driver to take us to our next accommodation. The place itself was so beautiful, the view from the bed was just forest which we loved, the room wasn’t huge but plenty of space for us both. The breakfast was included and was a delicious omelette with fresh avocado, and a plate of lovely fresh fruit. We also ate dinner here one night (soto ayam) which was amazing too. 10/10 would love to stay here again.
