We are pet friendly but we've had a few instances that have resulted in us having to adopt a pet policy & pet fee. We charge $25/night, per pet, max of $250. Centrally located in Leelanau County for wine excursions, dining and shopping. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is only a 40 min. drive. We are ten minutes from Traverse City, 18 from Northport and 14 minutes from Leland’s historic Fish Town. It’s truly a great UP North experience. (Possible road noise)

Beautiful cottage with a lovely view of Lake Michigan! We enjoyed cooking, having fire in the fireplace, playing games, and rest and relaxation! We love the area and had a wonderful hike at North Point Nature Preserve! We also met friendly people and enjoyed some shops in Charlevoix.

This was our second stay and we couldn’t wait to come back! Such a beautiful home that’s so comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed to cook meals, spread out and relax and enjoy the views. The beds and linens and very nice and comfortable. We love the split layout with the primary bedroom upstairs and two nice bedrooms and a second living room downstairs. We love this location and will definitely return again! The host is very responsive and even accommodated us for an extra night when our flight was delayed.

This stay was a 10/10. My group and I have stayed in Indian River for a few years now for the 4th of July and this is by far our favorite spot we’ve booked! It’s right on the Indian river and super close to a boat launch. It had ample space for docking our boats. We fished the whole weekend, even the neighbors were super friendly. Over all great place, everything was as expected and it’s super close to town.

We loved this home. Perfect for our sibling wkend. The home was very accommodating. We had everything we needed. Plenty of Living space. Loved the kitchen. The deck & all the furniture plentiful. A Firepit, khakis if you want to be on the water. Plenty of bedrooms, linens & beach towels. You won’t be sorry with your stay. The location is perfect between Traverse City to Suttons Bay the other direction. I would recommend a new coffee pot for the kitchen. It takes a long time to brew.

Lake front cottage in the heart of wine country

We (and our dogs) had an amazing time at Nathan's beautiful home. The setting is ideal—the house is right on the water, the amenities are fantastic, and the neighborhood is beautiful and serene. The house has everything you would want. There is a sweet deck and outdoor area along with a dock and your own private beach—the next house in either direction is almost a half-a-mile away. The perimeter around the house is essentially fully-fenced, which allowed us to swim, paddle board, and hang outside with the pups without worries. Nathan is a great host: He checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. He provided clear instructions about the house and its features, as well as great local recommendations. We really can't say enough great things about our stay. It was by far the most peaceful and relaxing trip we've had and look forward to coming back soon!
