Gateway to Acadia NP And Downeast Maine!

KatherineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The apartment treehouse was absolutely pretine. It was decorated beautifully. The kitchen had everything we needed. Jennifer and Robert even included local blueberry jam and l honey, which we used on our toast every morning. There were plenty of towels, and the apartment included a washer and dryer. The location was perfect, no traffic noise, just the sounds of a variety of birds, and the tall trees swaying in the breeze. We were able to open the windows and get a breeze in the apartment. They have a new air and heat system in the apartment. We did not need the heat, we did use the air the last night we were there, it worked well. We will definitely stay here again!

Sunset Pines

This was a lovely cabin in Maine, around 45 minutes driving distance from Acadia National Park, and 20 minutes to Bangor. We have a wonderful stay, the cabin decorations are really cute, and the beds were comfortable. Communication was great, I would definitely stay here again!!

On the Rocks!

ElenaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Usually in Maine, we stay at the Bar Harbor. This time we decided to rent a house and we did not regret it. The house is tucked away in the woods right on the lake. It looks new and well decorated. Beautiful mornings, sunset and starry skies are guaranteed.Deanna is super friendly . If you need anything she responds very quickly. What did we like about the house? Absolutely everything. Especially the cleanliness, super quiet air conditioning, full kitchen with large refrigerator, grill, lake view. The house is perfect for both a romantic getaway and a family adventure. Highly recommend

The River’s Nest

EllenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a special little place with many thoughtful touches from the owners. The king size bed is so soft and comfortable, with matching cozy robes that make you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel! The reclining couch is amazingingly comfortably too! All throughout there are just details and care. You can hear the river rushing by which is so soothing, and there is a nice little outdoor table to eat at it. It's a small space, perfect for a couple, but I was there with my son, who stayed on the sun porch and slept on the day bed and that worked great. The host was gracious to make sure I understood the kitchen was a kitchenette so it is really just functional for simple cooking (i.e. I could make bacon and eggs each morning on the little burners, and we also used the grill they provided. There is also an air fryer that can be used to bake etc) All in all I would definitely come back here - great location, well-kept lovely cottage, wonderful hosts.
A wooden staircase leads down to the water's edge, framed by trees. A large aluminum dock extends over the calm surface of Georges Pond, with gentle ripples reflecting the surrounding greenery.

Cozy quiet cottage On Georges Pond

DaytonRating, 5 stars9 months ago
John was super nice and welcoming! He meets you somewhere in the city and helps lead you to the camp and gives an explanation of everything in the house. The camp was so adorable and quiet. The dock was beautiful, we watched the sunrise from it. The place was clean, we were very happy with our stay. Only thing is that the water pressure in the shower was so strong it hurt to be in it! After a few times, we finally figured out how to decrease the pressure and then it was more enjoyable. Also, the water hookups are from the lake so you have to drink bottled water! We had a great time!
An outdoor deck features a dining set with six chairs under a vibrant red umbrella. Lush greenery surrounds the area, enhancing the natural setting. Visible in the background is a screened-in porch and glimmers of the lake through the trees.

Waterfront Great Pond Cottage w/ Hot Tub & Deck!

AshleyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Our stay at the Great Pond Airbnb was incredible! The house was beautiful, cozy, and fully stocked with all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the paddle boat—it was magical to take it out on the lake early in the morning and watch the sunrise. Truly a dream! Finding the place initially was a bit tricky (we missed some details in the instructions), and cell service in the area is spotty, so definitely screenshot directions beforehand. Once settled, though, it was perfect. Being just over an hour from Acadia National Park was a huge bonus! We had a blast hiking, especially on Precipice Trail (challenging but amazing!) and Beehive Trail for a slightly easier, but still fun option. This spot offered the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway!

Clean and spacious place. Love the recliners in the living room. View of the river is wonderful. Only downsides are street noise from passing cars at nice and really soft beds (though that’s a personal preference)
