Vacation rentals with lake access in East Hampton

This lovely home is near the adorable town of Chester, and surrounded by beautiful nature. It’s fun to poke around, and get a coffee or dinner. We felt like we walked into a Katherine Hepburn movie! The house is 20 minutes away from Wesleyan, and it makes a great place for a whole family if you are visiting a student. We would gladly stay again.

We had the most wonderful stay in Woodstock while vending at the Brimfield flea market. It was so nice to have a peaceful getaway during the show to sleep well at night. The kitchen was fully stocked with all essential cookware and even seasonings/sauces to assist our meals. Same with the bathroom! The house was cozy and clean, clear and easy instructions in the manual. Mike messaged frequently to check on us and was very kind. Can’t wait to come back to this little woodsy oasis!

This was our second stay. The house is cute and comfortable. Nice outdoor space with a sandy beach area and shallow lake entry. Jena is great to work with.

This is a beautiful peaceful location with a larger master bedroom and great bathrooms. The downstairs has a living room and kitchen so it's private -- like that it's separate from bathrooms. We have ZERO complaints and will highly recommend if anyone near Mystic. PERFECT spot for visiting the area and/or students at Conn College

this place is magical. my sisters and I have stayed here twice now, for her wedding and now for mine. both times the home has been clean and the overall experience has been wonderful.

Mitchell was an Amazing host!! He was quick to respond and went out of his way to accommodate arrival and departure time issues I had which helped us out tremendously. I would definitely come back to stay if we come back to this area!! What a beautiful, peaceful, Spacious property. It is exactly what you see in his listing. Lots to do and see, we rode kayaks, enjoyed his entertainment room downstairs and loved that he had phone chargers all throughout the property. It was the perfect venue for us to celebrate our daughter's graduation.

Staying at Kevin’s place was such a reset from Manhattan. It was cozy, comfortable and very breathtaking. Kevin has great response time and is willing to assist you while you stay. Will definitely be back soon!

Wonderful location , across the street with a unobstructed view of Highland lake . The interior is sun lit from two picture windows facing south , spacious rooms including the kitchen and bath. Comfortable bed and furniture and off street parking , complete a very accommodating setting ! Two minutes off the main street in Winsted. Highly recommended with thanks to Jeanne and her husband for being so helpful and responsive .

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

Great Airbnb! I love it so much. The place was clean, beautiful, and spacious. The airbnb looked exactly like the photos, but was more breathtaking in person. This is an amazing airbnb and I would definitely stay here again!

The place was beautifully decorated and everything from the plants to the antiques was wonderful to see. This is the perfect place for any stay and they only ask that you respect the possessions. John was very responsive in helping us for a late check in.

My husband and I stayed at the Waterview over Valentine's wknd. Instructions were precise, everything looked like the pics, and even better. Unit was simply but beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable with stunning views of Lake Zoar. We had a small issue upon arrival but Kristi was super prompt with a resolve and was kind and professional. A Winter storm was in effect and she was flexible with our arrival time and exit for our safety, which meant alot. We slept like babies to the sounds of owls hoo'ing and icy rain hitting the snow covered lake, which even at night was just stunning. I woke up early to watch the snow and ice melt from the lake...it really was a magical thing to behold. I saw deer tracks and was sorry I missed them. Saw mallards and several GORGEOUS hooded merganser, as well as several different species of birds flying over. If you love nature and gorgeous spaces that feel like home, book the Waterview. We hope to revisit in warmer months. Thank u Kristi

Very quaint and happy little house. Everything you need is supplied. Bed is comfy. A super nice place to be.

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

Very nice lake house with great Autumn views

Had a really wonderful time here for my friends’ trip. Kimberly was a communicative and amazing host, and the cottage was clean and well-stocked. The location is also perfect if you are hoping to enjoy some peace and relaxation, with nearby parks and trails available for exploration.

Couldn’t have picked a better place for a mini getaway with my now fiancée. I was able to surprise her and celebrate her 26th birthday — and even propose during our two-night stay. This place truly felt like home, and the only downside was having to leave. We loved sitting by the lake and taking in the peaceful view, then relaxing in the hot tub as the sun set. Later, we ended our nights by the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. It was all so surreal, especially since this was our first vacation together after constantly working. It was such a blessing to block everything else out and just be present with each other. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back!

The cottage is on a beautiful lake and is very relaxing . The morning sunset on our second day was amazing. Perfect couples retreat or in our case girls weekend. Our host, Donna, was very responsive and provided extra goodies. The house was clean and comfortable. We visited Gillette’s Castle and downtown Chester had lunch at Market 37 . Unfortunately, we had rain and could not enjoy deck right on the water.

Easy to find and access. Clean and neat. Looked just like the pictures! It was what I looking for when booking! Yeah!! Host responsive and friendly.

Kelsey’s cottage was exactly as described. It was so beautifully decorated & had everything that we would need. We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend & hope to do it again soon.
