Smoking friendly vacation rentals in East End

Im giving this location a 5 star review however the we did have some problems. This location has unbelievable potential with a great layout and a amazing view. -The house is a 3 family and there is other long term tenants that were never a issue. the road getting to the house is very steep. But if you've been to the island it won't bother you. if you haven't it can be very intimidating. parking was a bit of a problem because the driveway is very narrow forcing us to park against the wall and you can't exit the vehicle onnthe drivers side because the other tenants need to get out with thier vehicles. The inside of the house is nice. We had a problem with a leak in the kitchen every time it rained. it pretty much flooded the kitchen every time. there was no toaster or coffee machine so we donated ours that we purchased. The linen was not washed when we arrived and the stove didn't work. (host fixed the stove) The dryer does not dry. The AC,TV and internet worked great.

Marvin's place was awesome! He was super responsive, always there if we had questions. I wish every Airbnb was like his. He helped us tons, and it really felt like home. He even left us fresh fruit and local goodies – such a nice touch! Definitely recommend it. The view was amazing every morning too. Thanks for everything!

Myrla was the very best in helping us during our wonderful stay at her place. The view is gorgeous. The studio was comfortable. We went to many of her recommendations and were quite pleased. If you are coming to Magen’s Bay, she is the best

Villa’s place was as described as listed. She provided great instructions of do’s and dont’s for the area with plenty of phone numbers to taxis etc and places to eat. The view of the ocean was blocked by some trees which is probably the only bad thing I could say & unavoidable. I did have some WiFi issues but she went above & beyond to make up for it so appreciate the great host she was. Would definitely recommend her location!

Christie's place is beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and private. Christie is friendly and very helpful. It's clear she put a lot of thought into making sure the kitchen and bathroom had all the necessities. All of the furniture was comfortable, and the wi-fi was good. It's not close to restaurants, shops, or beaches, nor is it a place where you could safely go for a walk, so it wouldn't suit everyone. But the deck is a beautiful place to hang out with chairs that are comfortable for reading. It was just what we were looking for. Take the 4-wheel drive suggestion seriously. If you're not comfortable with nearly vertical roads and hairpin turns, you probably don't want to be on this part of the island.

We all felt safe and IQ took care of us like family! He is very attentive and a genuinely kind person! I’m glad we rented from him. The house was stocked with silverware, plates, pans etc. A perfect place that suited our needs. We arrived and it was clean and of course we went straight to the porch…the view from the porch was unforgettable absolutely stunning! We will visit IQs place again. Thank you IQ! 🌴

Incredible views, and a nice apartment. Well located between Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook (you will want to rent a car if you stay here). We did have some issues during our stay, but Randall addressed them quickly.

Great location. Friendly and safe. Easy walk about one mile to town and several nice restaurants within a few blocks. Great view of town harbor and hills. Plenty of space. Basic kitchen needs. If you have mobility issues this is not for you. Lots of steps and no railing.

This house was perfect! The view off the deck is totally stunning...sunrise, sunset, crystal blue waters, rolling hills of the East End of St John and even a full rainbow one afternoon! We spent a lot of time out there. The house was very comfortable, great big comfy couch, beds were nice and linens great and lots of pillows. The kitchen was very well appointed, big and fun to cook in with the counter and chairs for others to keep you company. The frig is huge and the ice maker was crucial. The laundry room was so convenient downstairs. The location was wonderful--near many amazing beaches and hikes, historic areas and local eateries. Quiet and peaceful but with plenty to do. Overall we LOVED staying here!

We were lucky enough to find this listing after being very unhappy with our first airbnb. The view was incredible. The 2nd floor unit was immaculate when we arrived. There was an issue with the refrigerator when we arrived due to the power outages that day(not the property's fault at all), and Brenda had a brand new fridge at the property within an hour. The bedroom area was huge, and the king-sized mattress was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very nice and well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals. There is a coffee pot, a kureg, and a blender. The bathroom and shower were very clean with excellent water pressure and consistent hot water. The gas/charcoal grill on the deck was a huge bonus!! The hot tub was a fantastic way to wind down at the end of the day. We will definitely try to book this property again when we return to St John. This property literally saved our vacation. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

This home is GORGEOUS. Even better in person than the pictures, the view on the balcony is incredible. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time, and Shana was very helpful and responsive for anything we had questions about. We appreciate how private the home is and how nicely decorated the place was. I definitely recommend a rental car for this location as it is up in the mountains, and just make sure to read the instructions to finding the house carefully so you should have no issue.

Our accommodations were exactly as expected. Bathroom was spotless despite being on an island (we live on one as well and moisture makes it really hard to keep clean). Interior felt a little tight at times during meals but very enjoyable and plenty of space outside! Listen to Shira's advice regarding your stay and everything should be alright :) I asked if a "small SUV" would be fine to get there and she thought it might be, but upon arrival her driveway did look too steep and angled. We had to park on the road, which honestly I think I preferred instead of having to pull in and out of there every time. Also shout out to Calabash Market JUST down the road, where we purchased kabobs to grill "at home" among other things. It ended up being our favorite meal compared to anything out at a restaurant. Finally, our favorite spots (Salt Pond and Francis Bay) are less than 10 minutes away from Shira's

Jocelyn’s place was clean, quiet and had a great view. It was in a great location- quick easy drive to Magens beach and was in walking distance if a great take out deli that had yummy breakfasts and lunches. Parking was on premises.

Daniel and his wife were great hosts. They were really friendly and gave us a lot of advice about what to do in St Thomas. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was super clean. It is really quiet so you can have a great sleep after a day full of activities. The view from their place is spectacular. I encourage you to try their lobster which was the best I have ever tried. We will definitely come back to their place when we go back to St Thomas.

The place was beautiful as you enter the property the pool awaits you to welcome you with an outside kitchen and grill for BBQ. Once you enter inside the ceiling are tall with an open layout with a comfy bed and 2 tv’s one of which is about 90 inches. The kitchen has plenty of island space to cook while you are there with a coffee machine, air fryer, and ice cubes left by Theresa in the freezer, which was much appreciated. The balcony has a beautiful view overlooking Fish Bay and if you need to tumble dry some wrinkly clothes to go out to dinner laundry is down a few stairs. Generator on the property came in clutch WAPA(electric company) down here isn’t the best, but it’s easy to turn on. If you want a relaxing break from your hectic day to day it is a great place to reset.
