This great room is part of my house that is featuring a private entrance, private bathroom, and a kitchenette but not a full kitchen. It is also an old house but well maintained in the neighborhood but not suitable for children. This vibrant architecture with brick, large porch, large windows, and a sense of the 18th century beauty. It’s also located between an highway and a main road, meaning cars noises are present. Please only book if you feel comfortable with the location, a car is ideal.

We really enjoyed our stay with Jim. From the moment we arrived, Jim was a gracious host. He gave us recommendations for places to eat and he was delightful to speak with. Jim is very good company, we chatted about our lives, shared a drink, and even worked on a puzzle together. The guest bed was incredibly comfortable and had an adjustable base. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast and Jim even made us a “to go” lunch for our hike. We would have loved to stay longer but our schedule didn’t allow. We definitely would recommend Jim’s place to anyone who is looking for someone to chat with in the evening and morning. Ten out of ten would stay here again!

It’s a very cozy room with good amenities and a welcome feeling. The desk is okay and I was able to conduct some interviews on it. Water pressure is good and they have a nice to sit on Tom was a friendly and open man. The doggies were barkers but I knew that going in so no complaints there. They were also very sweet and precious. The neighborhood has a beautiful park with a nice walking trail I found to very peaceful and there’s plenty of nearby stores

The serene and beautifully renovated Vincent Forge Mansion is truly a hidden gem. Each room is beautifully appointed, the kitchen is spectacular, the master bathroom is unrivaled, beds are comfortable, the large patio is serene and the gardens are magnificent! Walking the private grounds and pausing on porches made it seem like we were on a wellness retreat. My family was delighted with all aspects of our stay and were especially delighted by Lawson's tour of the historic house, revealing the extent to which he meticulously brought the property to its current state of glory. If you are able, be sure to have private chef Marc create a magical, personalized dining experience. We cannot wait to return!

As someone who has always been enchanted by stone buildings it was a special treat for me to stay in a really lovely, well maintained stone house on a quiet country road. Jacqueline is an excellent host who is very knowledgeable about the local area and generous in recommending places to eat and things to do. The next time we visit the area we will definitely try to stay with Jacqueline !
