The platypus, other waterlife and birdlife are visible from the breakfast / cocktail bar as well as from the bathtub or outdoor shower. The biggest decision you will need to make is which vantage point to enjoy. Newly built cottage for relaxing and looking at the view. Close to amenities and the Township of Yungaburra. Walk to the shop to buy the paper and a coffee and relax in the outdoor patio. The position of this cottage provides an easy base to travel the tablelands and come home to relax, or walk to the Restaurant, have a meal and drinks and wander home at your leisure. The quiet area is a bonus for uplifting your energy with walks to the quiet parks and shops for a truely re-energising holiday.

The cottage is on a ten acre property surrounded by nature in every direction. The cottage is spacious with unique features like an outdoor bath and a lovely rainforest driveway. Rare and endemic species of rainforest and fruit trees. Wildlife and birds live and visit the property . Tree kangaroos nearby. The Crater Lakes National Park and several towns are only a 10 min drive. Secluded and magical in it's nature , Wompoo is the place to stay and take in natures ever changing ambience.

Lakeside Loft

The Lakeside Loft is the ultimate relaxing getaway. It is a luxury pole home, nestled in the tree tops. It boasts three levels all with breath taking panoramic views of the Lake. The back yard has direct access to the lake for water sports for most of the year. We have a canoe and kayak for guest use. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

Usnea, A Nature, Art and Accommodation Space

Usnea, our Nature, Art and Accommodation Space, is situated on the Evelyn Tablelands, Tropical North Qld. Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

Kulara Views Lake House

This home offers seclusion and privacy and is separated into two wings joined by the spacious deck which captures the waterside breezes and is the full length of the house. The layout of the house makes it ideal for a romantic get away or a group holiday. One wing consists of the main living area, kitchen and master bedroom with walk through robe and bathroom. The second has two spacious bedrooms, en-suite bathroom and separate toilet and a smaller bedroom with 1 queen bed.

There are long walks along the water's edge - and the sunsets are just amazing.

Tinaroo Wilderness Retreat

Tinaroo Wilderness Retreat is situated on over 2 acres of beautiful bushland next to Lake Tinaroo. The cottage is totally private and backs into a reserve. Only a short stroll to the lake and is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. 3 minute drive to Black Gully boat ramp, 12 minutes to Atherton mountain bike park, and Mount Baldy walking trail. It has it all — fishing, hiking, mountain biking, water sports.

Rest is a very practical 3 bedroom open planned home with a fully enclosed backyard. Sleeping up to 6 comfortably, including the family pet (please advise if they will be joining on) our home is in historic Yungaburra. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. A wonderful place to stay, rest, and continue on your adventure. You MUST read the “rules” BEFORE booking.
