The island of Östervik

Looking for peace & quiet to relax? We are now offering our lovely island for rent in the beautiful Lake Möckeln. You can get here in one of the two small boats with a short rowing trip of 5 minutes. The cottage currently offers 3 single beds but there is also the possibility of a sofa bed and crib + crib, etc. 230v electricity, municipal sewage (shower + water toilet) with lake water in the tap. In the kitchen, there is a stove with an oven, microwave and fridge. Sheets and towels are available for a laundry fee of SEK 100/set (cash). Welcome!

The house is located on a farm and we live next to the Schoolhouse but with a distance that makes it feel private for both. The Schoolhouse has its own private garden and a big porch with a lake view. We arrange different packages of hiking, that includes breakfast, lunch or dinner in an outside setting. Lovely vacation home for those who like animals and nature! Here you can fish, swim, hike and cycle. In the nearby area, there are several nature reserves as well as hiking and biking trails. You have access to a simple rowing boat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own swimming cove or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets are not included. For an additional cost, they can be rented from the host.

Welcome to our cozy cabin! Nestled by the edge of a peaceful pool, you'll find a hot tub that comfortably accommodates up to five people, offering a stunning panoramic view of the lake. The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. Nature is just outside your door and in the evening you will watch the sun set over the lake. We look forward to welcoming you!
