Cotswold home with hot tub - Little Barford Mill

VickyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A perfect ‘half-way’ point for our family to get together to surprise my Dad on his 80th Birthday! Stunningly beautiful converted mill, with everything we could possibly need for our family of 10. The feature illuminated mill-workings were a lovely focal point. Warm and cosy with the log burner, well equipped kitchen, spacious, comfortable living space and bedrooms. Beautiful low character ceilings (challenging for my 6’4” Brother-in-Law!!!!) The hot tub was a perfect added bonus, a steamy soak when it was -1° outside, listening to the sheep and river cascade and at night the colour changing lights, where relaxing while watching the starry sky. We would LOVE to stay here again, all 10 of us (aged 8-80 years old) enjoyed our stay. The Victoria Sponge Cake, went down a treat-thank you!

Beautiful little place to stay for a few nights. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. The host was always on hand if we needed them. Very grateful of the cookies and wine we got when we arrived. Good attention to detail for example there was a book with guides on how to use the hot tub, oven, shower and even places to go out for food and supermarket. Very happy! Will definitely be coming back. Thanks x

We had a girlies 2 days/2nights at Waxwing Cottage which had a hot tub. Markey Harborough, the nearest town had everything you need with very friendly people. There is also the Foxton Locks and great walking trails all around. The host, Julie, was marvellous. She was always keen to help. The cottage was in a very peaceful setting and felt very safe.

We had a wonderful stay at Bridge Cottage. Louise gave clear instructions about cheek in and was there to welcome us when we arrived. House had everything we needed and more. It was very spacious and perfect for a family holiday. Location is perfect for Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. We hired the canal boat ‘Comet’ for a day which we arrange with Louise and it was fabulous. Lots to see and do in the local area. Would highly recommend Bridge Cottage. We will be back!

A fabulous property in a lovely location. The house was immaculate with everything you could want in a kitchen, big squishy sofa, comfy bed and a beautiful little garden. Rachel was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I have allergies and Rachel was so kind to clean with products I can tolerate, which I really appreciated. We had a lovely time and hope to book again soon.

Beautiful, cosy period cottage - edge of Cotswolds

EricaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely peaceful few days in this cosy cottage. It's recently refurbished so everything feels new and clean. The bed is super comfortable, the shower is great, and underfloor heating helps make it really cosy. Emily was a lovely host - very responsive and friendly. We stayed here with a 3 month old and found the cottage itself very suitable, but note to others that walks from the village are not pram-friendly. Also the pub in the village does not do food every evening, so check ahead if you don't want to drive somewhere (kitchen at the cottage is well equipped so we just cooked at home). Would definitely recommend for a peaceful mini break!
