Vacation rentals with lake access in Dufferin County

Second time staying at Rita’s! She is a very responsive host and was quick to help out when we had trouble connecting to the wifi (the issue was with our laptop not the wifi). Thanks, Rita - if we need a place to Grand Valley again this will be our first choice.

Overall, wonderful place to stay! The private access to the river and trees had a very welcoming energy. The home was incredibly clean and well stocked, with ample amenities. Whenever we needed anything, or had any questions, Karen and the other hosts were extremely responsive, and very accommodating. Thank you so much for a wonderful space, we definitely hope to return in the future!

Such an awesome place for the family. We stayed here for my wedding in Erin Ontario and everything was perfect from check in to check out. The place was very private and we all enjoyed the campfire outside.

George and his family have thought of everything. Loved playing scrabble, and the kitchen was the best. The welcome basket was extremely thoughtful too. Beds are super comfortable and after a long day at work it was great to be able to sit on the deck outback.

This one is for those who want a review that will make them feel like they have already been here: Accomodation: It was very nicely kept. Clean. Organized. The decor was a mix of cottage feeling with the comfort of also being at home. Loved it. Experience: For us, it was perfect. We don't do crowds. The quiet getaway was what we sought for. So the stay here was pretty much like a private resort. 100 plus acres of land so you get the idea of how far you have to travel to see another human haha. For people like us from the city, this is basically a breathtaking experience. Just looking at the freshly cut grass, abundance of trees, the quietness is a reminder that there is more to life than the fast pace we move in Toronto. Pond: Amazing. Perfect depth. Can wade and also dive off the rock. Best for all levels of swimming comfortability. There are also kayaks and paddle boats for you to use which becomes super fun when you start taking it beside the 2 floating fountains. Extras: As a surprise, Denise helped purchase champagne, flowers and a romantic photo frame for my fiancee. Denise went to 3 different stores to try and find stuff even though I told her this wasn't necessary. This transcends beyond customer care. This was her display of passion to make a memorable moment come true. She did what was needed to make me look like the most romantic man ever haha. Communication: One word. Solid. If you want a host who's going to take the time to answer every single question you have in detail, then Denise is that person. If in need of an emergency, she is very quick to respond. Overall: Definitely returning again. There are lots of places to stay in Airbnbs but Denise's level of genuine service is going to be very difficult to find. If you're lucky. Best of both worlds here. Beyond even the service & accommodations, she is extremely genuine in how she conducts her business. Very friendly, honest and understanding of all things. Amazing accommodations with an amazing host.
