Tiny house vacation rentals in Dubrovnik-Neretva County

We had an amazing stay at castaway. We had loads of fun hiring sea kayaks and the view from our beach hut was amazing.

We had an absolutely lovely time. The place looked even better than in the photos, with all the described amenities. Ivana was a fantastic host, very helpful and responsive. Will definitely come again!

It’s realy a fantastic house in a calm neighbourhood and a fantastic view over the sea and nearby the sea. The host is very friendly and when we arrived she gave a warm welcome and gave us fruit, wine, coffee and beer.

We had an amazing week on our first holiday to Croatia.The Viola apartment we stayed in made our holiday even more memorable as it was only a five minute walk to the Old Town making it an ideal location.We checked in at 3.00pm and was greeted by Matko's brother who even helped us carry our luggage in .Matko came to welcome us a short time later and was really friendly and helpful as he had brought a city map for us and showed us all the different areas and recommended places to visit .He told us to contact him if we had any problems and he would sort it out promptly .The highlight of our stay in the apartment had to be our two new friends Juliet the tortoise and Miska the cat . Misha was so friendly and quiet and always came to greet if we were away for the day .We would have no hesitation in recommending Matko's place as a lovely place to stay and also Matko as a host .Thanks again Madeleine &Gerald .

My selfish goal with this review would be to prevent you from making a reservation for this place - so that I would have more options to use it in the future! The reality is that I cannot be that selfish and that this slice of heaven should be shared in such a way that the most people possible can benefit from its exceptional nature. Never have I been more comfortable or at ease in nature than at Marko’s family house. My family knew from the moment we started down the driveway - that we were in for a life changing experience. The amenities were perfect for the environment. Please don’t consider this place if you need your hair dryer, washer/dryer, or infinity pool - you wouldn’t understand this place and all that it can do for you and your family if those are vacation requirements. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Marko and his family for creating such an EPIC experience. We will be back!!!

Lovely small house in a beautiful and peaceful location with everything you need to enjoy your holiday on the island. The fully equipped kitchen and private terrace with grill made our stay perfect.

Staying at Marina'a place was a dream. It was a truly wonderful experience, in which you are tucked away on the hillside surrounded by olive trees and lovely views of the rolling topography and sea. The intention of the landscaping, layout, and amenities of the cottage satisfied every possible need and more, making for a tranquil holiday. Marina is by far the best host we've ever encountered. She was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. It was a delight to talk with her and learn a bit about her travels and life on the island. This was our second visit to the cottage and it was just as amazing as the first . The cottage and surroundings are beautiful ,it is such a serene place to stay . The hosts are lovely people and only a phone call away should you need anything . We can’t recommend this place highly enough and would definitely go back . Thank you Katarina and Ivo for sharing your wonderful cottage with us !

An amazing place with a breathtaking garden full of greenery, where you will feel almost like on a desert island somewhere in the Caribbean Sea. Gorgeous, huge palm trees, banana trees, agave, yuky and lots of other wonderful plants, cacti, olive trees and shrubs. Although a hundred meters from the house there are nice places for swimming in the sea, where we went in the morning, when the small beaches were desolate, there is a beautiful lighted pool, where you can't see from anywhere, so you have to bathe and relax all day and evening, absolute privacy. The kids and we used a playground with darts and a "golf pool" in the evening. Both houses are very modern and comfortably equipped, plus nice sea accessories and decorations. We also used the outdoor wood/charcoal grill, which worked perfectly, with a dining table that was covering the greenery of an overgrown pergola. It is a true paradise that we will be very happy to visit again in the future and determine for more than four days that were really little.
