It has been an absolutely wonderful experience to stay at Christine's Airbnb property!!! Easter long weekend... and we spontaneously decide to travel outside of Sydney! I start browsing through Airbnb and come across Christine's property in Cumnock. I make the enquiry without much hope, but then, Christine responds that it is available!! My wife and I along with our teenage children and Pepper (our puppy) travel around 5 hours to reach the destination! From the moment we entered the property, we felt relaxed and at home surrounded by a comfortable living room, very spacious 4 bedrooms (we rarely build bedrooms with that anymore!), a neatly kept kitchen with all utensils, a fridge loaded with milk, bread, eggs and steak, a clean bathroom, a large front yard, a large work shed with pool and table tennis facilities and best of all, an authentic fireplace that works!! Christine is a fantastic host and kept in touch with us during our stay there! We definitely recommend this place!!!

Tara presented this little cottage perfectly. The house is comfortable and is equiped with everything you may need. Even a little bucket full of supplies for fur babies. The furnishings are gorgeous and the little touches finish it off to feel homely. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it for any families wanting to stay relatively close to the zoo. Also very close to town.

This air bnb is absolutely Devine, spectacular afternoon sunset having a glass of wine and sitting out on the table setting. Plenty of room for our dog to run around throwing a ball. And just wow, Lost for words for the interior of the cottage, the perfect romantic night away. This place ticks every box, could not recommend enough!! Our host Kem was so kind lovely and friendly making the whole experience stress free and inviting. Thankyou for the gorgeous air bnb and hospitality. If we’re ever in the area we will be back. 😁

We had a wonderful stay at Louise’s place! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The outdoor space was perfect for enjoying the fresh air, and the location was peaceful yet convenient. Louise was a great host—very responsive and welcoming. Would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommend!

The home was very basic, but that's what we expected. It was nice and quiet and the view was great with all the sheep and Guinea Fowl running around. My only gripe would be the beds and mattresses could be more comfortable. Would stay again though.

Perfect house for us to stay in. Close to everything we needed. Very comfortable, everything we needed in the house. Street was a little loud on Saturday night, but other than that very peaceful. Loved the interior of house, lots of character. Will be staying again on our next trip to Dubbo!

What a special place to stay! As a designer I very much appreciated the beautiful attention to detail and the stunning spaces Kate has created. The cottage is very homely, beds were extremely comfortable and beautiful spaces to sleep in. I’d love to live here forever! 271 coffee shop a few doors up is such a treat as well!

Very impressed with Macleay Cottage, it is in a fantastic location. Checkin was a breeze and we were delighted with the beautiful assortment of fresh food Susan had arranged for us. My two toy poodles LOVED the backyard. Macleay Cottage had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful stay with extended family at Cameron Glen, lots of rooms for everyone. The master bedroom was absolutely huge! Kitchen was well appointed and it was lovely to sit on the back patio and enjoy the view. Linen was lovely and clean and airconditioning across the whole home was appreciated on a warm weekend! Was a quick drive into town for anything we needed, a great base for a weekend in Dubbo including the zoo! Had seen on previous reviews some comments about drinking water but there is a filter tap in the kitchen so no need to bring own drinking water!

We absolutely loved our stay. Karen and Darren has been top hosts! Great communication and get everything ready for us. The place is private, beautifully-designed, clean and tidy, surprisingly warm at night. Darren helped with lighting the outdoor fire pit. Kids can roast marshmallows under the star sky. There are fresh eggs in the fridge. Second morning, we fed the sheep, visited the chickens. If we could stay for one more night, I am sure there will be so much more to do. My children absolutely love the experience. The way to the farm was quite fun, we saw ponies, ostrich, alpaca and cows! Highly recommended!

This place is like a theme park A time travellers delight It is niche but if you want a piece of living history then you don’t go past the homestead Yes, its a bit dusty- but then so is history Seriously a grand experience Tied it in with the Elvis fest in Parkes and could not have been happier The host was super helpful and really clear With communications . Just so much fun

We highly recommend this boutique hotel if you are staying in Dubbo! Virginia is such a wonderful host…friendly, kind and helpful. The room (3) was as pictured and beautifully appointed. The continental breakfast was wonderful, in the cosy dining room. There is also a seperate cosy sitting room to read or enjoy a drink. Some recommendations from our experience in Dubbo are: *Royal India Restobar for dinner (as suggested by Virginia). Such delicious food and a short walk from The Westbury. *Dubbo Zoo (incredible experience)- 8min drive away. *271 Coffee - 3min drive away.

The property was immaculately maintained, featuring expansive lawn areas and comfortable bench seating that proved perfect for both active recreation, like kicking a ball around, and peaceful relaxation while taking in the serene country views. What a fantastic stay this was. The owner of the property has done a fantastic job with the place. Really well done kitchen, brand new stacker doors leading out to a brand new deck, updated bathroom and immaculate home. Everything has been thought of, there’s nothing else you need to bring. The house itself is spotless (credit to the management agency) and whilst it has been very tastefully updated, it still retains its charm.. so much so that I’d love to talk to the owner as I’d love to do the same myself! With 2 adults/2 kids we found the place a perfect fit. It’s super quick to warm up in the mornings with the gas fireplace and 3 split system reverse cycle ACs, the outdoor firepit was a hit, wifi worked perfectly as did the usual streaming services. Congrats to the owner on creating such an inviting home that’s central to everything in Dubbo, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
