We had a wonderful stay at the castle. The setting is beautiful, we would have stayed longer if we had the opportunity. Many activities are offered within the same estate: swimming pool, sauna, jaccuzi, bike rides, massages etc... We were greeted with our pups who were really able to have fun in the large park. Pleasantly surprised by the restaurant which was delicious. In short, I recommend the Château des Ayes 100% for a refreshing weekend.

A huge thank you to Gilles for this unforgettable stay in a simply magical place. Le Vercors already offers an exceptional decor, but this cottage... it is a real haven of peace, nestled in the heart of nature, with a breathtaking view. I have to say: Gilles lies a little in his listing... because the reality is even more beautiful than we can imagine! Every detail is neat, the comfort is absolute, and the atmosphere here invites serenity and healing. It immediately feels like a home away from home, while being totally somewhere else. Thank you for the warm welcome and generosity. This stay will remain engraved in our heart. I will be back, it's a certainty and moreover the next stay is already booked with Gilles. (❤️)

What a lovely place, what wonderful hosts! We immediately felt incredibly comfortable with Corine and Christophe. Right at our arrival, we were greeted very nicely by Christophe and were able to get to know each other over a glass of wine in the garden. For those who like us are not so fit in French: Christophe speaks excellent German, which was a great help for us. We got a lot of great recommendations from both for excursions and restaurants in the area. There is so much to see and do - we absolutely have to come back. The room is really nice and tasteful, the garden with pool fantastic and the view of the castle uniquely beautiful. Also the homemade French dinner and the breakfast are really excellent and leave nothing to be desired. Especially the kindness and warmth of Christophe and Corine left a lasting impression. They have always been looking for the conversation with the guests and helped them with helpful tips. Merci beaucoup et à bientôt!

Béatrice welcomed us to her lovely home with a lovely drink. We loved the location, the artistic sculpture and objects scattered around her home. Béatrice is a lovely welcoming host and it was great to have a swim after our journey. We would absolutely stay with Béatrice again.

Thanks to Françoise, Claude, Colin & Amélie for these wonderful few days in a place that like a sanctuary disconnects you and offers a real rest in the heart of the Orange region. The place is sublime, hidden in the middle of nature and the rooms is very pleasant and fresh despite the high heat. We'll be happy to go back!

we were really warmly welcomed, got a good explanation/description. They were incredibly hospitable, but they did respond to your privacy. since we were there in a very warm period, the pool and air conditioning were of priceless value. Petra and Willem

Beautiful room, the hotel was responsive, we took our night the same day because there were too many traffic jams on the highway. The pool was lovely, we were able to enjoy it.

Our stay at this cottage was a wonderfully relaxing experience. The peaceful setting of the farmhouse allowed us to relax completely. Jean-Marc and Frédérique are incredibly kind and caring, doing everything possible to make us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Breakfasts were hearty and delicious, with local and homemade products. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to recharge, you can go there without so much as a second thought. Be careful though for people sensitive to light and heat for sleeping, the darkness is not complete in the room and it can get hot. Thank you Frédérique and Jean-Marc for your hospitality and this stay that will remain in our memories!

Great clean hotel in the center of the city, perfect location. Friendly and helpful stuff. Large room. We paid for breakfast, but unfortunately most hot items were already gone and not refilled by the time we arrived (we were not late) so this is the only thing I would improve.

What a wonderful place to stay. The cottage and grounds are very nice and well equipped. A lovely quiet place with amazing views. We were very kindly received and felt very welcome. We would love to come back!

If you want to wake up every morning to a beautiful landscape, this is the place! The place is truly stunning and perfect for exploring the area. Very friendly welcome also by the owners of the premises :) The apartment must be very nice in the summer when it's hot! For our part we really appreciated the wood stove because it stays cool and a little damp after rainy weeks.

Hotel Burrhus is very well located. Right in the center with free parking not far. The premises are pleasant and well decorated. The whole team was very welcoming and gave very good advice . Hearty breakfast, varied and very good. It was a good stay.

There's so much passion in this spot of earth. Gilles is a person who is passionate about his design projects, this love can be found in so many small places in the accommodation. Aesthetic and so natural. We felt absolutely comfortable at every moment. Whether cooling off in the pool, enjoying the breathtaking views, or dreaming in the hammocks. A huge thanks to Gilles for sharing and maintaining this beautiful spot of earth. With dedication, Gilles showed us around and explained everything on his property.
