The accommodation "Shitamura no Hanare" is located about 20 minutes by car from Fujino Station on the Chuo Line, on the prefectural border between Uenohara City, Yamanashi Prefecture and Midori Ward, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is about an hour's drive from the city, and the peaceful scenery of the natural countryside spreads out. "Shimomura no Hanare" is named after our house. The separate accommodation is compact but private, and you can enjoy seasonal views from the garden room. In this area, cars were not yet widespread in the early Showa era, and people mainly raised horses, cows, goats, chickens, etc. in stables. There is a renovated stable on the premises of our house, and it is a charming space. The stable is also a private space for guests. Children are welcome, and up to 1 small dog is allowed. In addition, although it is limited to the season, you can enjoy activities such as shiitake mushroom hunting, bamboo shoot digging, bracken picking, and yuzu harvesting. This accommodation is a private resort called "Private Resort Fuji", located in a villa area 11 minutes on foot from Lake Yamanaka, which was renovated by a designer in July 2024. A modern Japanese design house with a floor area of 115㎡, based on a 3LDK log house, When you go up to the second floor, you can see the large Mt. Fuji from the living room window, have a BBQ on the large balcony with Mt. Fuji in the background, and after enjoying the barrel sauna surrounded by trees, you can take a forest bath in the outdoor rest space. There is a large fire pit in the garden, and you can talk around the fire. Also, there is a high fence in the garden, so you don't have to worry about your dog running away if you bring it with you.
