Vacation rentals with breakfast in Dorchester County

This was our 3rd stay. Beautiful property with expansive water views and pretty sunsets. Very comfortable bedrooms and a roomy bathroom. Please read my other reviews if you want to know more. It has become our go to when traveling through the Eastern Shore.

This place is a hidden gem! The host and the staff were so welcoming and showed us all around the farm. The pool was beautiful and it was very cool to be so close to all the farm animals. It’s such a one of a kind experience, just don’t forget to pack the bug spray!

How best to describe an oasis of peace, tranquility, and flavor? Answer: three words --sugar, water, manor. We enjoyed every moment on the property and riverside! Dana's restaurant at the George Washington Inn was also excellent, and the brunch menu is a particular treat. Never have I had better French toast, and I consider myself an expert on all things toasty and fluffy. And the buttered grits with the farm fresh eggs! Yum, yum, and YUM. Just right. So don't let the simple exterior and no-frill interior of the inn fool you, the menu is elaborate and delish. My husband also loved the gravlax that we came to learn Dana makes from scratch. I'm not a fan of pork in general, but the grilled pork chop with the jam glaze changed my mind! Dana, thank you so very much for a terrific stay and birthday weekend for my husband! Great location with a beautiful water view. Quiet neighborhood. Place was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Our host Bill was friendly and helpful. My wife and I would definitely stay there again.

This was my first Airbnb experience and it was awesome. It was a great find at a terrific price and very spacious. The peacefulness and serene vibe, makes you feel at home. Which was very much what I needed, because I came home for my mom's funeral. I would highly recommend this place. I will definitely come back to this Airbnb, if I need it for any future events when I'm on the Eastern shore Thank you Elizabeth for making my stay a wonderful visit back home.

I stayed here before racing Ironman Maryland, and what a great stay. The house is a 5 minute drive from the race site and 4 minutes from the shuttle stop parking lot utilized on race day. This made all the logistics of race week very easy. Additionally, Nora is extremely nice and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need. She even bakes delicious cookies, and scones for your arrival! The house is clean, beautiful and has a full kitchen, which is just what you need for Ironman weekend. I would highly recommend staying here!

Hosts are awesome and take excellent care of their property and guests.

Beautiful, unique and scrumptious hand-crafted breakfasts (locally sourced and in season) were spectacular! Pristine, comfortable, relaxing. Lots of activity options on site (kayaks, golf balls, painting, hammocks, croquet, bikes, swimming pool, huge private river front space). Woody and Michelle are lovely and do everything they can to make guests comfortable on site, and they recommend local spots to enjoy. Blue Ruin in Cambridge was a major highlight - we never would have found it if they hadn't suggested it. The Anchorage 1800 is the perfect place to bring friends & family and make it a group trip weekend!

Had a great time, lots of space and things to do. Kids loved it and family would definitely use again.
