Surrounded by beautiful grounds and historic outhouses, located 1.5k from Tramore beach which stretches almost 7k (behind St Patrick’s Links, Roasapenna Golf Course). Other nearby attractions include the Boardwalk Resort (1k), the famous Glen Bar & Restaurant (3k), Doe Castle (4k), Ards Friary, Marble Hill & Dunfanaghy (14k).

This unique cottage sleeps six people & is ideally placed in South-West Donegal along the Wild Atlantic Way. It offers complete tranquillity & lies within easy reach of the main attractions of the area (beaches, hiking, surfing, kayaking, horse riding, chasing waterfalls & sunsets). The cosy cottage is perfect for peaceful strolls across Donegal’s breathtaking beach’s& it’s the ultimate backdrop for a low-key romantic break, however, you’ll have to make friends with the cows while you’re there!

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

Fuchsia Cottage quaint rural seaside escape

Fuchsia Cottage Quaint cosy costal cottage situated along one of Ireland’s longest peninsulas jutting out into Donegal Bay. With St. John’s Point Lighthouse at one end and the ruins of Mc Swyne’s Castle at the other this stop along the wild Atlantic way is full of historical features with Slieve League as a backdrop. Accommodation for 1-2 adults with full self catering kitchen providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. Part of the garden is fenced which could be suitable for dogs.

Donegal Thatch Cottage

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

Hannahs thatched cottage (pet friendly!) is one of the last remaining original thatched cottages in Inishowen. The cottage has recently and lovingly been restored to the highest standards.
