Large very clean accommodation. The garden and the view of the peaks and the sea are beautiful. The bedrooms are big and comfortable. Communication with the host was very easy. We recommend this property.

Had a beautiful stay in this cottage; perfect if you are looking for something peaceful and quiet. The views are extraordinary and the hosts are extremely responsive. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing stay! The airbnb is just as pictured. The home is in a very private location and right in the middle of the beautiful surrounding nature. Nichi was an amazing host. Because it is hard to get around without renting a car, Nichi personally took me to the best spots on the island, and also provided great information on the history and culture of the island. Would highly recommend staying here!

Nick’s place is incredibly clean & comfortable with a lovely view. It’s close to nice beaches, the chocolate factory and the sweet little village. We really appreciated the little shop on the corner for bits & pieces we needed. What stood out the most was the Conroy, the manager. He was really kind and takes really great care of the apartments. He checked in a few times and made us feel very at home.

My husband, 9-year-old daughter, and I all enjoyed our weeklong stay at the Hillside House in Méro. We had everything we needed and more than enough space. Our local contact Mike was very helpful and welcoming. The house features both US and UK style outlets, so that was an unexpected bonus. The shared pool area was refreshing and a lovely place to chill out in addition to the veranda. This is a good central home base on the west coast, with day trips ranging from 30-60 min each way. Sunday is a popular day for locals to enjoy Méro Beach, so be sure to walk down and see it at its most festive. Otherwise, we tended to have the beach to ourselves. Tips: If you fly in to Douglas-Charles, do *not* take Google Map's recommended route via the Layou River Rd. Opt for Warner Rd to the south or the northern route through Calibishie instead. S-Mart is a better grocery store than the Big W. Faves: Extreme Dominica, Lacou Melrose House, Ti Kwen Glo Cho + lunch @ Le Petit Paradis, Indian River

Nicks place is beautiful with amazing views over black sand Hodges Bay Beach and has many things to see and restaurants within a nice walk it local driver Pascal is a local charm. Little market less than 5 minute walk. Nick is very responsive and the place exceeded expectations. Thank you!

The best of both worlds with ocean and Mountain View’s! The peaceful sound of the waves at night and the sunrise in the morning is amazing. Kelvin is a great help with everything you need on the island. The house is stocked with everything you need or forgot! Can’t say enough good things about it. Look forward to the next time. From the start, Sheila was always very communicative giving suggestions on where to go and what to do. i would suggest renting their 4x4 SUV, we had some issues with a rental company at the airport that Sheila & Helm had to help us out with. Once we got there, the pictures do not do this property justice, absolutely beautiful and meticulously maintained. Their dog was the highlight of the vacation tbh 😂. we will be back and we will never stay anywhere else.

The house was perfect for a girls getaway … close to town and lots of beautiful adventures nearby. The sunsets were amazing and the house had all the amenities we needed for a comfy stay. Great location!!

We had a lovely stay at the villa, it was spacious and peaceful. Edris the cleaner came in regularly to clean and was always polite and helpful. The pool was great and much needed due to the hot weather. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this villa and would advise arranging a car for your stay so that you can explore the island. The kitchen was fully equipped and the villa is in a lovely setting and has beautiful gardens and views. I would happily stay here again and cannot wait for my next visit to Dominica.

Amazing place!! We had the entire property to ourselves on this trip. You can walk right down to the beach (which we had to ourselves nearly the entire time) in about 5 minutes and see crabs along the way. Beds were comfy (yes, there IS a/c and fans in the bedrooms, but the living area is open air), the linens were soft, and the view was spectacular. The pool was refreshing, you could see stars on clear nights, and the grounds were gorgeous. Would definitely come again!

Spent two nights at Nick's, it was a great location for checking out Calabishe. 10 minute drive to two of the best beaches (Batibou and #1) and also Red Rocks. Poz's restaurant was within walking distance and was good food. The property had amazing views and was very peaceful. Clean and had everything we needed. If you plan on cooking you may want to get groceries in Roseau or Portsmouth. Conroy checked us in and was very friendly and gave us good advice. Would stay again. Thanks!
