Westkapelle is located on the westernmost point of Walcheren. Surrounded by sea & beaches.. Domburg & Zoutelande are about 5 to 6 km from here. Nice to visit the towns on foot or by bike. Middelburg is the cultural capital, the picturesque town of Veere or the maritime city of Vlissingen.

We had a lovely, almost 1-week-long stay in Katia and Rinus's apartment with our 3-year-old son. Everything was as described, with a fully equipped kitchen. I cooked several meals flawlessly. The oven has a combined microwave function. Everything was functional, the mattresses were comfortable. The apartment was well prepared and clean when we arrived. The view is magnificent! Many things to do around the city: we visited Brugge, Zwin natural park, strand Harendijke, and went to Zeeland in the Netherlands. We came after a 3-day-long city festival, so the city's cleanliness was not the best. Many constructions were ongoing, making parking a bit hectic. Parking is ~1km away (7,5 EUR / day), and a passenger ferry is available on weekends.

Hilde’s place was perfect for a Ghent city break! Super easy to get to from the main train station by tram, mere meters from the tram stop and a delightful walk along the canal into the old town. Would highly recommend, old town was so busy with people it was so nice being able to go back to Hildes peaceful place at the end of the day after exploring!
