Elangu is a spacious family friendly house with fully equipped kitchen and large lounge area. a moderate yard for the children to run around in and alfresco area with gas BBQ. just across the yard there is a children play ground for them to enjoy. Sandpiper beach is only a few minute walk along the beach track and you are there to enjoy Great oyster bay. Freycinet National Park is only 5 min by car where you can enjoy the walk to Wineglass Bay or just explore the region from this great base.

We are currently in Hobart for our final stipend, but we already find ourselves missing Blacksmith Cottage. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a warm and welcoming retreat. The cottage is cosy and full of character, with thoughtful touches that made our stay feel very special. It is the kind of place where you can truly relax and unwind. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. Every window seems to frame a different beautiful view, and the peace and quiet of the area is something we will not forget any time soon. We enjoyed slow mornings with a cup of tea, listening to the birds and watching the light change over the landscape. It is a place that invites you to slow down and simply take it all in. Blacksmith Cottage quickly felt like a home away from home, and leaving it was harder than we expected. There is a certain magic about the place – it is not just a lovely cottage, it is a whole feeling. We are very grateful for the time we had there. Thank you Kat and Andrew

Heather’s place is outstanding. From the moment we walked in a feeling of calm washed over us. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a more luxurious, well-appointed Air bnb. We saw pademelons and echidnas foraging in the garden which was an absolute bonus.

We had a great stay at this home in Coles Bay. The location was really convenient—just a short drive into town and a quick walk down to the beach. The house itself was large, clean, and comfortable, with generous-sized bedrooms that made for a relaxing stay. The kitchen has some of the basics if you want to cook, so make sure you stock up on pantry items before you arrive. There is a washing machine and a great clothesline. Check-in was smooth, with clear instructions, and the team was great at communicating throughout our stay. Overall, a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Coles Bay. Would happily return!

The Lisdillon Coach House is a very comfortable and well appointed house set in a beautiful and peaceful location. With private crystal clear white sandy beaches a 4 minute walk away it’s a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Walk the beaches and see the bird life whilst reading up on the colonial history of the area. We’d definitely recommend it and look forward to returning next summer.
