Beachcomber ~ A short stroll to a stunning beach

MadhuriRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great location with stunning views from the living/kitchen area! There are ceiling to floor windows in the living area so it gets warm during the day which was great for our winter stay. We saw dolphins swimming in the ocean one evening which was magical. The place itself is conveniently located close to Freycinet national park and Coles bay town centre. It is on the older side but has everything you need for a nice stay and was very clean. Overall great stay!
A heritage-style cottage features twin dormer windows and a red sloped roof. Surrounding gardens are lush with colorful flowers and greenery, providing a welcoming atmosphere. A private driveway leads to the entrance, and a shaded gazebo is visible in the background.

3 Bedroom Attic Spa Cottage - Adjacent the Beach

RajeshRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Thank you for hosting us. Very spacious cottage, kids loved the cottage and space around the cottage to ride their kick scooter. Reception staff and Rob are very responsive, attended to the bathroom door issue immediately. Eatery and bar in walking distance. Highly recommend Rob’s place! We will book in next time too when visiting the area.
A dark wooden house is positioned close to the water's edge, framed by lush greenery. Steps lead from the deck to a grassy area, while large windows offer views of the ocean. Gentle sunlight creates a serene atmosphere.

Oceanfront Coastal Retreat East Coast Tasmania

AndrewRating, 5 stars5 months ago
If you are looking for an amazing family retreat on the Eastern Coast then book this house now (if you can!). We cannot recommend it highly enough. We had brilliant communication and advice from Sally prior to arrival with lots of invaluable tips on making our stay better. The house is beautifully designed and immensely comfortable. I have never come across a better equipped kitchen in a B&B before. This is very clearly a family home and lots of love has gone into making it comfortable. Outside is truly special, with the most incredible ocean-front setting. The house is surrounded by the ocean on 3 sides, giving a constant backdrop of waves crashing on the shore. The ocean constantly changes colour mesmerically throughout the day, and is particularly spectacular at sunrise in front the house. The wildlife is amazing; wallabies, possums, eagles, swallows, plovers and cicadas. So much to see and do in the neighbourhood to fill your days - a week is not enough. Book it if you can!!

Unique Off-Grid Retreat with Deck Tub and Sauna.

AlisonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Perched at the top of the hill with sweeping views of the valley and mountain tops, Valley Hearth is everything it promises. Beautifully built with interesting wood features throughout the house, its glass frontages and thick walls trap the heat so it felt balmy and comfortable the moment we stepped inside. The outdoor bath was divine and the wood-fired sauna was quirky and so easy to use. Sitting on the deck drinking in the views and listening to the birds and frogs could happily eat up hours of the day!

The Blue House ~ Absolute Waterfront

KetishaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Blue House is a great spot for a weekend get away. With more than enough room, beautiful views and walking distance to small beaches, you couldn’t ask for more from a holiday home! Also it was all fenced in so our 2 dogs had a blast running around in the sun!

Hanalei (Han-a-lay) Cottage

CarolynRating, 5 stars35 months ago
Sandpiper cottages were cosy and close to the beach. We liked the idea of closing off the deck so the dogs could go outside. The place was ideal for us and close enough for an evening trip to Bicheno to see the lightshow in July.
A charming white house with a sloping roof is surrounded by vibrant purple flowers and lush green plants. The well-maintained garden leads to a pathway that connects to the street, which offers a view of the bay in the distance.

Swansea House in beautiful beachside town.

SharonRating, 5 stars15 months ago
Catherine’s home is terrific: lovely, within walking distance of places to eat (we loved the RSL); the kitchen was NOT too small-there was plenty of room for both of us with a well-stocked pantry with olive oil, vinegar, a variety of spices, mustards…it is in easy driving distance of so many places to eat/see. We wouldn’t hesitate to say “just book it”. You’ll be glad you did

The Loft ~ Luxury & Stunning Views

AmeliaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is beautiful! The view is breathtaking and the house is in a perfect spot close to the town shop and cafe, as well as the National Park. There were a couple of things that could be improved: - the door to the balcony was unlocked when we arrived and we were unable to lock it with the keys provided which is a security concern. - we were traveling with our 6 month old and requested a portacot. This was provided but not set up for us, and the cot provided did not click into place under the mattress.

Maria's at Swansea - entire home

JohnRating, 5 stars28 months ago
To reiterate what many have said, Maria’s is a spacious, clean, comfortable and excellently equipped place to stay. It’s such a short walk to the general store and beach and was a perfect base to visit the rest of Tasmania’s east coast from. Julie was really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, and was flexible with our check in and out times: a massive plus when you have a young child.
A cozy living area features comfortable dark leather chairs and a circular coffee table atop a plush light blue rug. Large windows offer views of the ocean and surrounding landscape, while a wood-burning heater is positioned nearby, providing warmth and comfort.
