You need to board a boat ride to San Miguel, I did not have too much time there because I went to Tikal but supposed to ba a great beach on that side and some good lookout there too. This is definitely the quiet side; but roosters crowing early in the morning though.

Price is right for the location, easy walk to Flores Island(30minutes) or 5 min. by tuk tuk 10Q per person. ($2cdn.) we enjoyed the daily walk and the vibe, be sure to explore flores island & San Miguel a short boat ride across, where you will find a archaeological dig, a walk through the forest on a new boardwalk, museum and a high lookout of Peten Itsa and much more. Edelyn and her family are wonderful hosts and helped us book our adventure to Tikal wow! what a treat! I could go on, but I will end with, I would definitely stay with Edelyn at her place again

Very happy with the stay and the place is very comfortable and clean, everything is high quality, as described in the publication and the security guards at the checkpoint are very friendly.

I absolutely LOVED staying at this property! At the end of long days exploring I couldn’t imagine a more peaceful place to come back to! I really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom and shower! Umberto was a gracious, responsive host with great recommendations and conversation. His breakfast was a highlight - especially the homemade bread and jam! I have traveled all over the world and this place holds a special place in my heart!

The stay was very good, the house was quite tidy and clean. Communication with fabiola was excellent and I support us quite a bit. I recommend staying.

We rented the apartment for two night. From the start Mirna was extremely responsive which I appreciated. We arrived before check in time she allowed us to leave our bags which was also helpful for my family since we were traveling with kids. The apartment is in a quiet area and it was very spacious. The apartment was clean but linens had a little smell. Nonetheless the host appreciated the feedback. Overall I recommend staying here.

This home is in a remarkable location. Just down the hill from the central park. If you stay here, you should use the church in front of it as a reference point when directing tuc tuc drivers. It is also a 8 minute walk from La Torre, the best supermarket in town. This place features a roof top deck where you will see amazing sunrises and sunsets. There are 3 full bathrooms, the one in the rear has hot water. As for the kitchen, it is fully stocked with newer appliances. As for the kitchen sink, for those who are not aware, it is called a Pila. It is a traditional utility sink used in Guatamala. I feel it adds a nice touch to the place and is located 5 ft from the kitchen. I also believe the place is adequately for the area. It has seating for guests as well. However, if you're in the beatiful city of Flores, I wouldn't suggest spending much time in the house.
