If you want to go on a day trip, it's an hour to Astrid Lindgren's world. All of the rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier cottage from the 18th century. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing is available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cabin.

The house is a good starting point for excursions to Astrid Lindgren's world, High Chaparral, Glasriket, the old town of Eksjö and several beautiful nature reserves.
