Calm surroundings and beautiful views. The house is old and is located in the farmhouse of Vattarnesi. Sheep is prone to coming in on the tin. The house consists of one bathroom with shower and kitchen where guests can cook. There are three bedrooms, two of them with a double bed and one with two single beds. We are not on the ring road (road number 1). The house is on the old ring road between Fáúðsfjörður and Reyðarfjörður, 19km from Fáskúðsfjörður and 29km from Reyðarfjörður.

Peaceful cottage blue in the countryside.

Beautiful, warm and cozy cottage with beds for up to 4 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Óbót 1. — riverside cabin

Óbót is a small cabin (13.5 square meters) and has accommodations just outside Egilsstaðir and has a great riverside view. The cabin has two single beds, private bathroom and free WiFi. The facilities are extremely suitable for two people. A variety of hiking trails are nearby and guests are allowed to go fishing for free in the river called Rangá. The nearest airport is Egilsstaðir Airport, 8 km from the cabin location.

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. Small house 18 kilometers from the town Egilsstaðir. This is a sheep and horse farm and we live in the next house so we are always in the area. Perfect for 3-4 guests who wants to be alone from everything and discover the countryside of Iceland. We have sheeps, icelandic horses, dogs, cats, birds and more and you are welcome to take a look at everything! We recommend that you stay longer than one night.
