Guesthouse vacation rentals in Detroit River

This condo was an end unit with a beautiful unobstructed view of the lake. Some of us walked from the ferry to the condo. Golf cart rentals are available right there on the property. Ian was proactive with information before and during our stay. I would stay here again. Thank you.

Can’t complain! This unit was perfect for my family! We were on the island for the Sports Car Races and had a blast! The ease of renting a golf cart was also so great! The sunrises and the moon viewing is incredible.

Cozy and awesome! This was an amazing place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful. And the town of Brighton was outstanding. We had a very minor issue with the tv connecting to the internet and it was fixed by the owners within minutes. I would highly recommend and I would stay there again. . . several times!

Very kind and responsive host! House was close to downtown area which was walkable and had great restaurants. Loved the bath and had all that you could need when out of town (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, kitchen supplies, fridge, microwave). Comfortable bed and pillows too :)

Accepted my last minute reservation. Host is very nice & friendly. Keeps the place very clean, organized, and private. Was able to watch movies & play video games, without having to worry about volume. Bed & couch were very comfy. Water in shower is nice & toasty.

We had a wonderful weekend in Kerrytown at Ani's place! Great location -- easy to walk into town, to restaurants, and shops near by. Perfect size for my wife and I -- think studio loft vibe, with fun, stylish, amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Not a large table or kitchen (no oven or microwave) -- so I wouldn't plan on hosting people for dinner. But it worked well for our needs. Know that there are stairs that lead to the apartment, in case that might be a concern for you. But, all in all, it is a very nice, bright apartment in the heart of downtown.

This was our second visit and we will certainly return. As a host, Heidi is very welcoming and goes above and beyond to make one's stay comfortable.

Nora is a great host. She will do everything she can to make sure you have a good experience at her place. She is also very knowledgeable about the area and provides good recommendations!

We had a great time at the Airbnb. We had a family of 7 with 5 young kids. Although it might be a little cramped for them to play/run around, there was plenty of space to sleep and cozy up together; the kids felt like they were camping out together. David was very responsive and super helpful! He has a great spot and clearly takes care of this property. It is walking distance from the Michigan Stadium, so I imagine much busier during an event but it was nice and peaceful while we were there. Highly recommend staying here.

As we were visiting from Ottawa and needed a spot between London and Detroit, Ellen's spot was the perfect location! We were in town visiting family and friends, and even caught a Detroit Pistons game - all within an hour's drive. The place was absolutely perfect - from size and location, to the amenities (reliable wifi, Netflix, great showerhead). Definitely made up for all the rain we experienced this past weekend! 10/10 would stay again when visiting family!

If you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation, this is the place for you! We stayed here as a family of 4 (daughters ages 5 and 6). We loved the area and the beach. There are plenty of fun activities and restaurants within driving distance if the weather is bad. Nearby Wheatley is quiet and has a great little ice cream shop and anything you could need. We loved our morning coffee on the covered porch. Stephany was wonderful and so quick to respond. We’d love to be back someday!

Absolutely one of the best stays we’ve had in Ann Arbor. Martin was proactive, helpful, and on the day of arrival took the time to show me around the unit. The unit was spotless, and the accommodations were thoughtful.

Great historic location in downtown Detroit. Most destinations were within a 10 minute drive, which was very convenient. I saw some reviews about cleanliness but we had no real issues with this. The shower does leak a lot on the ground but otherwise no big complaints. Some stains on the couch. Private and quiet. Good parking spot. Really cool neighborhood. Airbnb was well decorated and really cool. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The guesthouse was charming, clean, spacious, and had all the amenities necessary for a great stay. In a beautiful neighborhood and very close to a bus stop to take into Downtown Detroit. Adam was very kind and helpful during our stay.

Had a lovely stay- we arrived late at night and Audrey offered to unlock the door for us as we were carrying our small child.

Beautiful home ! Worth the stay

Stayed here before and the area was just as beautiful in the winter. The snow on the trees surrounding the area and the wildlife was a beautiful thing to see. Very nice place for a little get away in a beautiful, peaceful area.

My husband and son had a wonderful stay! The home was very cozy and felt right at home! The power even went out during a storm and the generator turned on immediately!

I loved the tiny home. It was perfect for me. I loved the farm & walking the trails. It was a quiet & peaceful countryside. The bonus was hearing the chickens in the distance. The sky was dark blue at night, I could see the stars big & bright so clearly. Everything was high end, from dishwater to butcher block countertops to a granite bathroom countertop. Can’t wait to go back again
