Vlad Maramureș Chalet

The uniqueness of the pyramidal construction is noticeable from a great distance, and the closer you get, the chalet surprises you with its different way of being. Built in the Scandinavian style of solid wood A-frame constructions, Vlad Chalet rises to the sky from the foothills of Gutâi mountain. It offers a wide and stunning view of the valley that stretches gently to the top of Cresta Cocoșului, the northern chalet seems to watch over the entire voivodal Maramureș, once roamed by Pintea's outlaws.

Traditional old wooden house renovated to modern standards of comfort, situated in a large green meadow beside a soothing river. The house is composed of two large bedrooms with ensuite washrooms. Each room is fitted with a large queen size bed and a single bed in case you are travelling with kids or family. On the large property there is also a fully equipped kitchen and several places to enjoy your meals, either indoors or outdoors. There is also a BBQ area and a fire pit for cosy nights.

Our small location is in the middle of historical Maramures, in the charming village of Breb, where time has stood still and the locals still celebrate Sundays and holidays in traditional costumes and live according to the rhythm of nature. The little house is in the back of the orchard, at the end of the village, surrounded of beautiful green hills and is an old converted cosy barn that can host up to 4 people and where you have al the modern utilities furnished in a gentle rural style.

Leave your worries behind and find peace in a corner of heaven, at the foot of Mount Igniș. Where the Jidovia River whispers old stories, and the wide courtyard invites you to dream. Here, time flows smoothly – between mornings shrouded in the tranquility of nature and evenings with a bonfire under the starry sky. The Ciubăr is available for a fee – 200 RON.
