The house corresponded exactly to the description – beautifully secluded in fantastic surroundings overlooking the magnificent firs of the Freiberge. The fenced garden is perfect for dogs, and the location is ideal for walks and hikes. Stylishly furnished, cozy and equipped with everything you need. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back :)

With a total of 8 people, we spent a weekend in Flumenthal. All rooms were impeccably furnished. We felt right at home. The kitchen is small and fine, the wet rooms were beautifully renovated not too long ago. The natural environment was very well maintained. A large variety of plants enriches the garden. In the warm weather, we were able to enjoy the seating area and prepare a fine dinner on the grill. The house is easily accessible and yet very quiet. There is no through traffic.

Amazing host, thank you for all your help during our stay. The pictures don't do the house justice, it's fantastic and the area is amazing and peaceful. Only 30 mins on the tram into basel. Will stay here again when visiting the area, thanks Silvie for everything.

We had a great time at this place. The space is really generous, with spacious, clean and well-appointed rooms, ideal for hosting a group of people. The location is also very convenient, there are parking spaces available right next door, which is a real asset, especially if you are by car. The host is super friendly and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I would 100% recommend!

There were 3 of us and we were able to park the car at Odile's and do everything on foot. Ideal location, impeccable accommodation and very nice to be able to enjoy the garden. Odile is a very pleasant host and gives very good recommendations. We'll be back without hesitating.

We ( a family with 8 adults and three children) met at Sarah's place, came from different corners of Switzerland to spend a weekend together. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Sarah welcomed us in a very friendly way with a beer for a chat. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the rustic house.

I've been to Beat and Erika several times and it's great every time! The flexible check-in is great and the proximity to the classroom makes it the ideal place for me. I'd love to come back, see you soon 😀

This was one of our best of many Airbnb experiences! Doreen was the ideal host and her place was perfect. Super clean, beautiful view, comfortable and spacious rooms. Extras - she gave us a chocolate Easter bunny because it is Easter. Super welcoming, friendly and attentive.

We had a great time at this very bright Airbnb apartment. The interior is nice and bathed in natural light, with a small garden perfect for relaxing. The apartment is in a great location, right next to a large park, which the kids really enjoyed. We took full advantage of the greenery and surrounding calm. Another very nice point: everything is easily accessible by public transport, which allowed us to get around without stress. A really satisfying experience that we would recommend without hesitation.

Jeannette is an incredibly nice, open-minded and casual host. The apartment is great - just like in the photos (if not even great). If it was warmer, I would certainly have used the great balcony as well. I felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I loved it - highly recommended! From Grenchen I can recommend day trips by car to: 1) Bern and Freiburg 2) Biel and Neuchâtel 3) Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen 4) Baden, Zurich, Winterthur 5) Basel Shopping is within walking distance of the apartment.

Serge was very helpful not only at check-in but also during the stay. The house is very nice and well equipped. The location is very convenient for those who have a car and want to visit different regions of Switzerland. I recommend this accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly due to the fact that we felt very comfortable. The kitchen had loads of ammedeties which enabled us to have a lovely dining experience. It served as a great game night location for the six of us, hence why I'd totally recommend this Airbnb for an ideal getaway weekend. Credit's due to the amazing host, who was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice apartment in a quiet residential area

I have stayed in many AirBnBs in Basel and this is one of the very best. It’s definitely the cleanest and fanciest. Sharmeen is a wonderful host too and was always quick to respond and address any issues. The place has many high-end features, including smart showers, adjustable lighting, wonderful TV and audio systems, electric window shutters, and even a treadmill and a work station. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the towels as well. The location is very close to a supermarkets, pharmacies, and the train station. The only minor critiques were the comically small hand basin in the guest bathroom and the sofa’s removable backrest that kept falling off. But overall, 10/10!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. You have everything you need. Very clean, modernly furnished. Perfect location, public transport is a 2-3 minute walk and you are very quickly in the city center, and all this is free with the Baselcard, which you will receive a few days before arrival from Daniel. You also have a free parking space in the underground garage or right in front of the house. We highly recommend the apartment and Daniel as a host!

I did not end up being able to go to Basel, but my friends let me know what a great choice I made for this AirBnB!! Ivan and co hosts were amazing communicators and extremely helpful. I can not say enough about the pre trip communication. I can't wait to book this place again.

Bea is a very reliable host. She responded immediately and helpful to our requests. The location of the apartment was perfect, in the center and yet quiet. The decor left nothing to be desired. We felt very comfortable and will come back.

The place was super clean and very comfortable to stay in. The location is great—very close to the supermarket, which made everything really convenient. The only minor downside is that it’s on the 4th floor with no elevator, but the host is incredibly kind and helpful. They responded quickly and solved any issues right away, which was a huge help for travelers. Overall, highly recommended!
