Bokanbotin Island Getaway

Had a great time to this lovley island. Exquisitely beautiful. Perfect! Many thanx to Mr. Sherwood for the excellent and friendly service.
An aerial view reveals a lush island surrounded by crystal-clear waters. Dense greenery and palm trees cover the land, while sandy beaches outline the shore. Shallow coral reefs are visible in the turquoise waters, enhancing the tropical setting.

Bokanbotin Island Glamping

You couldn’t ask for a better host—Sherwood was responsive, friendly and very welcoming to Bokanbotin Island. We stocked up on food and water for two days, and his crew picked us up from hotel pier and took us out to the private island. The dome stay was just like “glamping” in the States, but with an amazing Pacific view! He has a small shop with drinks on island, should you run out. We sat and talked with him on Day 1 and Day 3–learned a lot. A manicured walking path on island, and snorkeling with reef sharks, giant clams and fish galore. If you want a rustic experience in RMI with a little bit of luxury, this is it. I can’t wait to come back!
A unique container home is seen from the beach, framed by lush greenery. The porch is visible, overlooking the sandy shoreline. Gentle waves wash against the beach, highlighting the peaceful connection between the home and the Majuro Lagoon.

Majuro Beachfront Container Home

Truly great - and safe - place to stay in Majuro. The flights out didn't allow a lot of flexibility for me, so I only stayed for one night - but it was really terrific, and I wish I'd known how great the island was before I'd booked my onward flight. But the accommodations were wonderful. Everything you need is there; it's a brand-new residence; it's literally right on the water (so you get to see the sunrise from just outside the house); and if you stop by the small (but nice) market nearby before arriving, you can pick up all the sundries you need. And it would be wrong of me not to mention The Family Member who picked me up from the airport, and with whom I negotiated a tour of the island for the day (for a very reasonable rate). And hopefully she'll open up a Souvenir Stand that sells "refrigerator magnets," because no matter how hard we tried, there were none to be found - ha ha!

great place, quiet, close the shore lagoonside. enjoyed my stay.
A covered balcony is visible, featuring white lattice railings and a blue floor. Palm trees and beach views are framed by the balcony's open structure, allowing natural light to fill the space.

Rushing Water

Stayed here for a business trip to Majuro for 2 nights. It is absolutely beautiful, serene, and peaceful. The place is well maintained, neat, and spacious. It has zircon, fans, hot and cold shower, fridge, microwave, electric stove, coffee maker, etc. The place does not have utensils (knives, spoon, fork, saucepan, pot) and this will need to be arranged. I have been advised that people who have stayed here previously have repeatedly taken the items away - which is a shame! The hosts are brilliant and very helpful. This place is strongly recommended.
A single-story beach house is surrounded by palm trees, with solar panels mounted on the roof. A ramp leads to the entrance, and ocean views are visible in the background. A green water tank is positioned nearby, set against a backdrop of white sand.
