Amazing spot on the water - close to good food and bars. Plenty of activities to do and lots of space in the house.

Linda is such a great host. She was very quick to respond to questions before I booked and the one question I had after getting into the house. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. Tons of games scattered throughout including ping pong, putting, foosball, and a poker table. The fully fenced in yard was great for the dog. I highly recommend Linda and this house.

The house was perfect! The amenities, the coffee bar, wireless charging phone stations, pool table, and laundry room was great! There were plenty of linens, dishes, kitchen utensils. It kept our family of 7 comfortable and entertained. We all felt right at home.

Wes made the entire check-in process/stay seamless for our group. We had to re-book our trip last minute and Wes was able to accommodate us with no problem! Incredible views from the deck and the dock. Couldn't have asked for a better place to relax by the lake with our friends.

The home on the lake was absolutely perfect for meeting family for a long, relaxing weekend. The home had everything we could ask for. We love to cook and the kitchen had all the appliances, cookware, utensils and space to prepare large meals for everyone. We even smoked two shoulder roasts on the Big Green Egg. The three comfortable couches provided all the sitting space we needed to enjoy movies at night and The Masters during the day. Outside, the we all enjoyed the hot tub, sitting by the firepit and enjoying lake time on the dock and the boat we rented. Such a great place. When we return to Lake Norman and need a rental, Brenell's place will be at the top of our list.

I didn’t realize someone else live in the same building until I got check in instructions but other than that everything matched the description. Very clean and peaceful place for a staycation.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We love the house! The surroundings are beautiful. We even caught some fish in December. Most of our time was spent purely relaxing, and this was a perfect place for that.

The home was very comfortable, clean, and beautifully updated. The large screened in porch allowed us to enjoy a lovely view in a quiet location of the lake. Landscaping and dock area were attractive and provided lots of fun. It was obvious the owners took great pride in providing thoughtful amenities for their guests to have an enjoyable experience. The only thing that didn’t work for us was taking our boat out of the water there on the property. The gravel driveway made it too difficult to get the traction needed to pull trailered boat up steep incline. The alternative was to drive approximately 10 minutes to Buddle Creek Wildlife Boat Launch to trailer boat upon departure. We enjoyed our stay at this High Rock Lake home and hope to rebook next year.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless and beautifully set up, making it feel like a home away from home. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a long day. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, from the essentials to thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. Jeff, the host, was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any questions I had about the house. I highly recommend staying here – it’s a fantastic spot!

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. We were on the hunt for a quiet, serene spot with a lakefront view to celebrate Valentine's Day, and this place was perfect for us! 😊 Even though the weather wasn't the best, we still had an amazing time and were super happy with everything it offered. John is an awesome host and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. We'd absolutely love to return in the summertime and fully enjoy the lake! 🌞🏖️

We enjoyed our stay. It was within walking distance to Truist ballpark, restaurants, the art district, as well as close to lots of other attractions. The place is quiet and comfortable. We would stay here again without hesitation.

I had an amazing experience hosting my 50th birthday costume party with a Bridgerton theme at this wonderful venue. I only dealt with Meagan, and she was so sweet every time. She is extremely personable and easy to talk to, which made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. Needless to say, the location was the perfect backdrop for picture posing—its elegant decor and timeless ambiance elevated our celebration to a whole new level. We were transported straight into the Regency era, making it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to throw a themed party that truly impresses!

We loved the Black Bear Cabin. I was surprised to find it in a residential area. It was tucked away on a culdesac and was so private and quiet. I loved the rustic decor. My twin 9-yr-old granddaughters loved the loft and arcade. My daughter and son-in-law enjoyed the pool table. When I crawled into bed that first night, after 7 hrs of riding, the sheets were so soft and fragrant. I felt so pampered. II enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea every day. Shops, restaurants and a movie theater were close and convenient. We enjoyed it all. Thank you, Kay!

The listing and pictures give a great idea of what to expect and the experience did not disappoint. The house is well stocked for a convenient stay. The view is even better in person! We would definitely look forward to coming back.

If I could rate Gene and Connie's place higher than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I have stayed at several Airbnbs, and this was the BEST, by far. It was the perfect spot for peace and relaxation. The surroundings were magical!
