Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Dartmouth

We really enjoyed our stay, lovely accommodations and backyard. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We will likely return!

My partner and I stayed with friends at Sara and Marietta’s Airbnb for the weekend. It was beautiful, clean and cozy! The home was more spacious in person than we expected. We cooked all weekend long, using the bbq and everything in the kitchen. The kitchen had all amenities you would wish for. In the evenings we used the hot tub, which was nice to wind down and relax. The property has the perfect layout for a larger group, while having a stunning view of the lake! We had a lovely stay and highly recommend this Airbnb!

The spot was perfect for us, a great little cottage by the lake. The lake was gorgeous! Chris was very responsive for all of our changes in schedule and questions we had and even left us a little welcome gift of some snacks and drinks. It was incredible and we would stay there again! also it is much closer to Halifax than you think! Turn on tolls when looking because everyone uses the toll bridge and it's just 1.25$ at time of writing and it saves 20 minutes to get into Halifax!

Kelly and Doris are incredibly friendly and quick to respond. Our stay was a last minute booking. Both kelly and Doris helped us feel right at home. The property is an Oasis. It has everything your family will need. The pictures do not do it justice. The quiet peacefulness you feel well sitting by the lake is everything you want and need. We will be coming back!

Honestly, this place is gorgeous! I could have sat by the water for hours. But my family had too much fun catching up and playing games inside. Everything was perfect - clean and exactly as described. I can’t wait to go back.

The house is spacious and airy, with modern furnishings. Heating was ultra. efficient. Bathrooms were clean, good - quality toiletries were provided, ample quantity of towels, water pressure was excellent and hot water was readily available. However, there was a problem with the tap pressure, in the ground floor bathroom. This was mentioned to the host. In the bedrooms, there was adequate cupboard storage. We were disappointed to see stained coverlets, on the beds, in two of the bedrooms that we used. This was,also, mentioned to host. The kitchen was clean and all the appliances functioned well. There were so few dishes, cups and cutlery provided ,that we had to wash up, constantly. This meant that we couldn’t appreciate the use of the dishwasher. Also, there was, only, one tea towel provided. ( To be fair,we didn’t notify host). The house is well located for visiting the region. Local shops, and a shopping centre ( NSLC,Sobey’s,Tim Horton’s…) Definitely, an Airbnb to revisit!

Exactly as advertised. Host is very responsive and will go out of her way to make sure you have what you need. The house itself was very clean and had everything we needed. The Internet was adequate for remote work. We appreciated having access to the entire driveway. There are grocery stores and places to eat nearby. I’d stay here again if I were in the area.

Very nice place to stay. The view from the back yard is priceless and is very relaxing .She has everything there to make for a nice evening outside ,patio lights, firepit ,lite up dock and picnic table right on the water. Inside is very clean and cozy and is not lacking for anything that you might need .This is not a place that you want to make any excessive noise as there is another residence right above you.

We loved the location central to going to Halifax and Mahone Bay and Lundenburg also for going to our next place. Clean neat and tidy great shower all the amenities you need for a short stay!!

Absolutely beautiful place-being able to see it in fresh snowfall was breathtaking. We were very comfortable and felt right at home. It was fully equipped and well-kept - the office space was perfect for me to do some work while there and so much light came in during sunny days. Host was very communicative and friendly and wanted to make sure we got in okay and if we needed anything to reach out. I would definitely stay here again!

Thank you for being such lovely hosts! We immediately felt right at home. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It was a wonderful place to wake up to the snow. Thoughtful amenities, lots of space, comfortable places to eat, drink, read and watch Christmas movies. We didn't want to leave. So much generosity was extended to us due to the storm, and I look forward to returning! We very much were well taken care of.

This was the most amazing place. We spent a week here and Everything you needed or wanted was right in this place. The surroundings were peaceful, very inviting. Gillian checked in with us halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything. The beds were very comfy. The firepit is beautiful there was a fully stacked wood pile to use for the fire. There were lots of chairs all around to sit outside or out by the the dock. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Gillian and Scott for your hospitality.

A great place to relax and unwind. Hot tub was perfect and super clean. Host was very attentive.

Great little cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Quick 10 min drive to downtown for shops, restaurants, and more.

Had an awesome stay. Loved the location and amenities. Accommodations were great and the bed was super comfy. Cabins had everything you needed. Staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely return.

Great spot to visit for a weekend getaway! Even though the cabin is attached to their house, the hosts made us feel secluded and welcome.

The property is beautifully located, only a short drive away from Lawrencetown Beach. Deedee and Jeremy were kind and helpful. I strongly recommend!

Took an impromptu trip to NS for the weekend and lucked out with a vacancy at the Lakeside Lookout cabin. Very quiet, peaceful and serene surroundings made our stay more than enjoyable, topped off with a clean and welcoming cabin. Interested to see all the other things that they will build and do with this property. Will return in the future for sure.
