This accommodation unit is situated on a working farm in the quietness of the countryside with all the comforts of home. Common room with queen bed, includes full kitchen, microwave, oven, fridge, fireplace, bathroom, television, and DVD player, Sky TV. A private garden is also part of the quiet countryside accommodation.

Silk Tree Cottage is modern, self contained and situated on 5 acres of park like grounds. Away from the main house to ensure privacy. Offering a full kitchen, complimentary breakfast for first 2 days. Seasonal fruit from the garden all make this an enjoyable stay. My place is close to great views of the Southern Alps and away from the hustle and bustle of city living. It is a peaceful country escape. 10 mins to Darfield & 20 mins to Rolleston, and 30 mins to Christchurch or Christchurch airport. My place is good for couples and families (with kids). We are only a few minutes away from the hot air ballooning and an hour from the ski fields. The nearest golf course is only 5 mins down the road with several others available in the Selwyn district.
