This is a beautiful setting, and the house itself is very modern and comfortable. With great views from each bedroom. The location is nice - 20-25 mts from Portland and its nice restaurants. John is a very responsive host - always available, very flexible. I would recommend the unit as well as John, and would return here.

The entire home was clean, gorgeous, and amenities were exactly what we were looking for! the hot tub was fantastic and what my husband needed for his back as he sometimes has some back issues. The availability of your paddle boat helped my son and his friend save their volleyball when it rolled out to the water! They had a great time! We would love to stay again!! Thank you so much!

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.

This was a really nice house on a beautiful lake. The beds were comfortable and there were enough to accommodate us. It was very clean and easy to enjoy your stay. We really enjoyed our stay.

Spenser's place was pretty perfect for our needs. Loved the hot tub, lots of towels, lots of kitchen supplies and room for the 7 of us. Would suggest have a few more chairs for the dining room since the home can fit 8 people. We just took a chair from the deck, which was fine. There were a lot of flies just hanging out with us, a few lady bugs too. The many flies were slow, so easy to catch. But still 5 stars! Thanks so much!

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. It is very peaceful and overlooks the lake. You can sit on the deck and enjoy your coffee as the sun rises. It is a great place to make your hub and then is only a short drive to many places you want to explore in Maine. It is close to Camden, Belfast and Searsport. Within an hour or so of Acadia National Park, Boothbay and Kennebunkport. This was our second time to stay and we will be back.

This trip was a very last minute thing for us. Our 4 year old pup was diagnosed with cancer and we just want him to be happy whether he has to leave us tomorrow or in two years. Kent made everything so perfect for us. With our dog going through chemo, he’s been “off” lately. We Didn’t know how he’d be with other people or dogs, he’s been weird when I HUG him sometimes… just going through it, ya know? Kent arranged times for us to go on the ferry with no other guests just to help us and our pup feel comfortable. It was the best trip ever. I cannot tell you how badly you need this trip😂. It couldn’t have been better. Make sure to use bug spray (or just have a fire going all the time, the bugs don’t like that haha), bring at least two books if you’re a reader, it’s AMAZING! GO OUT ON THE KAYAKS! Check out stars at night! Our first night we were stargazing and I saw THREE shooting stars and I finally looked up why I saw so many in such a short time and there was a meteor shower happening!

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! What an idyllic experience. Truly the best experience surrounded by nature- water, tree line, loons, etc. Nothing quite like waking up to 2 loons outside your float, the sun beaming in and the calm sounds of water, or going to sleep with a sky full of stars and the milky way beaming down on you. The boat was so quaint, so functional and everything you need for a relaxing stay, including two very powerful gas stoves good for cooking most meals, and a nice warm shower while you look out into the pond. It was a very easy paddle to shore if you wanted to go out for food, or for daytime adventures. Also a very gentle paddle around the pond for exploration. Rheanna was fantastic- responsive, welcoming and easy to get along with. She was very accommodating and we are very grateful we got to stay on her boathouse. It was a very easy and comfortable stay, so for those feeling apprehensive about the challenges of life on a boat, I wouldn't worry. The highest of recommendations! We'll be back!

Our stay in Sharon’s camp overlooking Halfmoon Pond was wonderful. It was peaceful, the setting beautiful and the camp equipped with everything, and more than, we needed. We had plenty of towels, linens, blankets. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked one to two meals a day and had everything we needed. We never needed or wanted anything that Sharon didn’t have. Sharon was a great host. She checked in with us, quickly offered a solution when mother nature created an issue, offered suggestions on places to eat, shared where we could find the closest grocery store, and, most importantly, created a comfortable home away from home. It’s a little slice of Heaven that we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at again, and again and again. [We visited from a small town in East Tennessee near the Great Smoky Mountains.]

My husband and I had a great 3-night stay at Liz’s cabin. It was an enchanting place to spend a rainy long weekend with all the warmth and coziness that one would want from a cabin in the woods. As others have noted, the location is superbly private and relaxing! We loved sitting by the fire, having our morning coffee on the enclosed porch and walking the pond-side trails right outside the front door. The cabin makes for a great jumping-off point, too, for lots of great things to explore in the midcoast including Odd Ale Wives, Oxbow Brewing and some great eats in Damariscotta. We really enjoyed our time. Liz and her husband were awesome hosts.

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

This property was awesome we were all very happy with the location, amenities, price and host. Hillary was polite and very helpful. This trip almost didn’t happen as our previous reservation was canceled 12 hours before check in from a different host. Luckily Hillary saved the week with her quick response time and answering questions about sleeping situations etc. would stay here again in a heart beat highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at the Aslan house with our dogs. It has a beautiful view of the lake and just a short walk to the beach. It is peaceful and quiet, super clean & cozy. The host was very friendly and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!!

I went on a weekend getaway with my 10 year old daughter and her best friend to a ComicCon in Portland. We wanted a private place to ourselves to unwind, and Lori's peaceful little cabin was a slice of heaven. It is a typical converted maine lake cabin with most of the amenities we needed. The kid's enjoyed having access to the lake and the peaceful, safe wooded surroundings to explore, and even made some local friends while there. Thank you Lori, we will definitely return if we find ourselves in your area in the future!

What a beautiful location! David is a great host. He made sure we had good directions, tips for the area, and was quick to answer any questions. The lakeside cabin has absolutely everything you need to have a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The view of the lake is spectacular. The cabin is very clean, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and Echo lake is a gorgeous pristine lake. Every morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the dock. We swam, kayaked, canoed and even tried out the paddle boards that came with the house. We would love to come back! Thanks!

Absolutely loved our stay at this lake cabin! It's nestled right on the water, making it a perfect spot for peaceful mornings and unbeatable fishing. The sunsets over the lake are absolutely stunning — a real highlight of the trip. The cabin itself has a rustic charm, filled with unique vintage touches that make it feel cozy and full of character. It's quiet, far enough from the city to truly relax, but still conveniently close to town if you need anything. A wonderful place to unwind and make lasting memories with family.
