thankful for the host's hospitality and kindness. 🙏🏻 the place was as described and we had a comfortable stay. the property was in a quiet neighborhood and there were lots of plants and trees around. lots of warung around and there's a restaurant (Kalamansi) nearby as well. we didn't get to use the kitchen since we dined out a lot but drinking water was provided. the semi-outdoor bath was nice but expect that there will be bugs especially at night, so keep all doors closed. the place was big enough already for me and my partner as it had a "mini" living room. we got to work but the wifi fluctuates every now and then. overall, a good find! we didn't get to explore Sanur but we did visit the nearby Bali Zoo and we also managed to go snorkling in the Blue Lagoon and a quick side trip to Bias Tugel beach! thanks again for being part of our experience. 💖

Most incredible villa in Bali! Wow what an amazing experience, from start to finish Anna was so fantastic with communication, all the staff at the villa are so lovely and Annisa is a fantastic host! Unfortunately my husband wasn’t feeling very well before we arrived at the villa and got worse during our stay, however the staff couldn’t have been more helpful! Organising a doctor to visit the villa! We also had the most incredible massage! The best we have had on our trip! We also had a private barong performance at the villa which took our breath away! Everything from start to finish is amazing, the food is fantastic and having your own private beach is just perfection! We can’t wait to return! Thank you for having us! X

The stay was perfect. The place is a paradise, surrounded by rice fields with lots of greenery. Ideal for those who don't want to go to Canggu or Uluwatu and prefer a more relaxed stay close to nature. You absolutely need a car or motorcycle for absolutely everything, luckily with Grab it's super easy. The owner also sells food and drinks that are very useful when you don't plan to go to the center of Ubud by car (1 hour). We loved being away from the center, surrounded by nature. The house is just like the photos and even better, and communication with the owners to order food, activities and breakfast is super easy. Regarding the noise from animals that other guests mention, it's solved simply with earplugs. The only change I would ask for is to improve the pressure of the showers. It didn't come out very hot either. I would definitely recommend this listing

We had a great stay here for 1 month. Check-in in the middle of the night was no problem and the hosts welcomed us super nicely. The kitchen is also great and if anything is missing it was immediately concerned by the hosts. Only the chickens right next door were a little disturbing in the early morning hours as well as for working but otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

We had such a great time with our family! You immediately feel at home due to the cozy decor. The view over the rice fields is just beautiful! The bedrooms are fine. We were not bothered by traffic. We had massages done a few times, Awan took care of that. It all went well. Every day, Awan made a great breakfast of your choice. We all liked it. Awan speaks enough English for the necessary communication. The supermarket across the street is very convenient, so is the simple restaurant at 20 meters. We also regularly ordered food through Grab. It was a first introduction to Asia for a few of us. Due to the villa, that first impression is great!!! If you want to stay right amongst the vibe of Bingin beach this is the villa for you. This villa is right in front of the beach great to watch the sunset from your balcony. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say if steep stairs aren't your thing I wouldn't stay here, but we thought they kept us fit.

Bale Teba is the best way to experience the real Bali, a private place surrounded by beautiful nature and.. pets 😊 We are already so attached to Tremor and Berry and our kitties felt at home too. Nyoman and his family are always so nice, and we always feel right at home at Bale Teba

Shela, Julia and their team have continued to provide us with the highest level of car and assistance during our travels - helping us with transportation recommendations, when we were in need during our visa run and providing us with the most comfortable landing pad after arriving back in Bali at 2am in the morning. I could not recommend this accommodation more highly!

Such a wonderful stay! The villa staff were extremely helpful, responsive, and kind, the rooms and the villa was lovely! There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance for a quick meal or snack, but not much else as it's not in the city. (At the time of our stay, breakfast was the only meal available, so you'll have to search elsewhere for lunch & dinner!) Although, Ubud is a 20-minute motorcycle ride from the villa and it costs around $3-4 CAD per trip and there's lots to do there!

The most beautiful place in Chang, the nature is incredible, the best owner of the property. We enjoyed ourselves completely. You won't find better accommodation in Changu for this money

We loved our stay in Bali! The outdoor living area and pool were wonderful, the staff was very hospitable with amazing food and service, and it was just a quick walk to the beach to watch the surfers.

Very nice accommodation in a quiet environment and close to everything on foot. The cute bathroom outside and private pool are real extras . Two small downsides no hot water in the shower and door of the house, despite being locked, you could still open it just by pushing on it. Despite this we had a great stay and the people who hosted us were lovely!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kupu Kupu. This is a perfect villa for a stay at Bingin. Away from the main drag but just a quick bike (or car) ride to find your way to the busier parts of Bingin. Cashew Tree, Seed and Salty Coffee all within walking distance and gym and Reform Pilates are just around the corner. Bingin Beach is an easy 10 minutes walk. The villa itself was superb! Elegant beach vibe interior and the outdoor area is so lush with a sparkling pool that no one wanted to get out of! Hendrik was only a step away for any assistance that we needed and was lovely to deal with. We will definitely be booking Villa Kupu Kupu again for our next trip to Bingin. Our favourite accommodation of our holiday!!

Place is amazing, it’s very clean and the staff is also very helpful.Common kitchen area is also available, with the basic utensils and a electric stove is also available.

Absolutely fantastic place. Worth every penny. We love the pool and how spacious this place is. Definitely enjoyed the experience. And special thanks to Amenda who graciously stayed up late to accommodate our late arrival and late check-out.

Made is a fantastic host—super friendly and very responsive. We stayed at this house for a month and loved its remote location, away from traffic. As mentioned in the listing, geckos live on the ceilings, helping keep flies away. We got used to them quickly, though we had to clean up after them occasionally and they might make some noises from time to time. Since the house is near rice fields with lots of vegetation, insects, frogs, and spiders sometimes made their way inside. The pool, just three meters from the bedroom, was a big bonus, it was also regularly cleaned by local staff. The air was fresh, the surroundings peaceful, and the internet was fast enough for video calls, despite occasional freezes. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and were really sad to leave. If you’re looking to escape routine and experience Ubud’s authentic vibes, I highly recommend this place!

If your looking for a villa with a truly amazing host family this is it. They are always kind and Wayan will respond to any issues that may arise. The place looks like paradise, and I will definitely come back. Don't forget about Manis, if your looking for sweet company, Manis the cat is waiting for you.

We had the most wonderful stay at this villa in Sanur with our family of five (three kids aged 6–11). The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a short stroll to the beach via a nearby resort, and only minutes from great restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. It’s close to everything but tucked away behind a secure gate, which made it feel peaceful, safe, and much more spacious than other places we’ve stayed. The villa itself is beautiful—modern, luxurious, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were cool and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our kids spent hours in the pool every day, which was such a welcome retreat from the Bali heat. We loved relaxing in the shaded outdoor cabana while watching them swim and play. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, and the cleaning staff were friendly and did a great job throughout our stay. Highly recommend—this place was a real highlight of our trip!
