Characterful, unique and secluded late 17th century grade-II listed weaver's cottage with private fenced garden situated in the suburb of Fartown 1.4 miles from Huddersfield town centre and train station. There are excellent links from the train station to Manchester airport, Leeds, York and London via Wakefield. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.

Ridings Cottage is attached to the owners historic, victorian home with connections to the Bronte sisters. It is self contained with one spacious bedroom which has a very comfortable double bed and a pull out sofa bed. We are close to Dewsbury Hospital with easy access to Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield. M1 and M62 motorway links. We have made the cottage as comfortable as possible to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Perfect stay at Kate’s from start to finish. Kate was helpful, friendly and responsive and even ensured I had a DVD player to watch my training videos. Lovely private spot and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend!

MC was very friendly and flexible and gave super clear instruction to the coach house. The coach is lovely and fully of history and very spacious and well finished.

Much nicer, and cheaper than staying at a chain hotel. The parking is a little fiddly, but it's quiet and there are a few amenities nearby, plus a lovely pub at the top of the hill if you fancy a short walk. Would book again if I'm working in the area.

Stayed here for a music gig and the hosts Robert and Nicola werw very friendly. The building looks brand new and the interior was spotless. Great little touches with tea, coffee, milk, bottled water, biscuits and even bamboo toothbrushes. Many sky lights to let the breeze and fresh air in. Would definitely recommend

We had a great couple of days staying at the apartment whilst in the area for a wedding. The apartment suited us perfectly and had everything we needed for our stay. Chloe was a brilliant host and we’d love to return to stay should we go to the area again! :)
