Great place for us, super easy to get to back and forth to the Rex Plex event center. Really enjoyed our stay and will be booking it again next year.

What a gem! From the time I booked the accommodations to the time we checked out everything was perfect. I know we will be back in West DesMoines and will definitely check to see if this unit is available. It was so nice sitting back in the room relaxing as our family gathered.

Timothy was incredible responsive and communicated very well. We got to town a little early and he accommodated us for an early check in. The space was absolutely perfect for my girlfriends and I to get ready and go to a wedding down the street at the World Food Prize building.

Had a lovely stay at Jeff's place! The condo was lovely, nicely decorated and comfortable. We felt welcome right away with a nice card from Jeff and some snacks. We had everything we needed at the condo including a comfortable bed and pull out sofa and a full kitchen. Light sleepers may want to bring a noise machine or ear plugs as the downtown bar crowd can be a little noisy on the weekends. We would love to stay here again the next time we're in Des Moines!

I booked Kyles place at 9:30 @ night, thats pretty last minute, didnt phase them, even when i had a hard time figuring out how to get the keys out of the lockbox, Kyle answered and got me right in, it was beautiful and peaceful, just what i was looking for, thank you Kyle :)

This unit was as described and very comfortable. The instructions on how to get into the building and then into the unit were excellent. So glad that the unit had a washer and dryer. The free assigned parking space in the parking garage was priceless! So safe and secure. Very quiet area and attached to the Des Moines Skywalk. Walkable to a large grocery store, restaurants and entertainment. Could not get the online "guide book" to open up. Could have contacted Josiah, but didn't really find a need for it. You might want to make sure you will have access to it before arriving. Highly recommend this unit and renting from Josiah.

10/10 stay overall for my husband and I and our 3 kiddos. So kid friendly, clean and comfortable. Such an easy process beginning to end. Thank you Liz!

Justin's place was perfect for my stay. It was downtown, skywalk accessible, close to event center, restaurants, grocery store, etc... The only thing that was confusing was getting in and finding the apartment. I'd never been there before. I got a little thrown off by the entry description: "When you enter the lobby you'll see the elevators behind a glass enclosed entrance. Go to the door and enter the passcode for access to the elevator." The elevator glass entrance actually uses an RFID keychain reader and the passcode given is used for the outside sidewalk entrance on the east side of the building. Then when I got to the floor off the elevator there are a bunch of blank doors (I assume this was an old hotel) that don't have any room numbers on them, so I was a little confused if I was in the right spot. I didn't walk far enough down the hall to realize that multiple rooms had been converted to apartments and that there are only about 3 doors on the floor that are used.

The house was easy to find and easy to get into. It is in a nice little neighborhood with a park not too far away. The house was spacious and made you feel at home. One of the beds in the basement was broken when we got there but the host was quick to respond.

Wonderful, centralized location in Des Moines that comfortably accommodated my fam of 4 and my mom for a 3 day trip to visit college friends, relax, and enjoy family time. My kids loved the Pac Mac Machine and hot tub and the adults liked how much comfortable space there was for everyone. We walked to La Mie cafe and bakery for breakfast (it is a must for anyone visiting), took a short drive to Grays Lake for outdoor time, the Art Museum was such an unexpected gem (I can’t recommend it enough); and restaurants like St Kilde’s and Either/Or were big hits. The communication with the hosts was pleasant, responsive and easy! I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting Des Moines.

This stay was everything. Felt just like walking into my own home. Very nice set up. Was there this p past weekend for a basketball tournament and all gyms were 20 or less from the home. Everything went well, no issues at all.

This was our third stay in Allan and Shelly’s rental! Just as every time before, it was wonderful! The home is great for larger groups and has a lot of living quarters space for people to spread out! It’s very clean and well kept! Allan and Shelly are very responsive and flexible to work with!

The place was clean with decent furniture and amenities. It was exactly what we were looking for. We had a nice comfortable stay.

I really loved this Airbnb!! I can see why it’s so highly rated. It’s so homey and comfortable, great for groups! Bringing our pups was a huge plus. Most dog friendly Airbnb’s aren’t that great but Jen’s place was perfect and spotless. The neighborhood was very safe and a great place to walk the dogs! We would definitely stay again!
