Designed as our honeymoon/bridal suite, this property is part of our wedding venue. **The property will not be available if a wedding is booked. It's great location is less than a mile from I-40 and is just a couple of miles from HWY 111 in the fabulous town of Cookeville. The wonderful setting has a feel of being a million miles away. Cozy Lakefront Cottage Getaway with Relaxing View

Fishing Creek Cottage overlooks Fishing Creek, a popular recreational area on Lake Cumberland and a major arm of the lake. Pulaski County Park and its beach and boat ramp can be seen across the lake. Boaters frequent the area to ski & tube, but are distant enough that noise isn't an issue. We are the last house at the end of a quiet street in a residential neighborhood, & so have relative privacy. The large deck and impressive view are frequently referenced in our guests' reviews.

Right off the bat I will say there were a few little things around the house that need attending to like loose door knobs and lock sets, loose oven door and a couple burnt out bulbs, but we fixed those things our selves. It's nothing boujie, but more like walking into your Aunt Blanche's house. Very comfortable, very clean. We liked the fact that it's so close to Conley Bottom marina and we had two launch ramps to choose from both just a few minutes from the house. We actually got to speak to the owner before we arrived and what a super guy! Very accommodating.

This place is in a great location. We launch our boat at PC park and the house was right there. One time as we were leaving the park and taking the boat back to the storage unit, we just stopped and dropped the kids off then kept driving to the storage unit. It was super convenient. The kids had plenty of room to spread out and play. I loved the extra seating area in the basement. I also loved the big kitchen table. We all ate meals together and played card games. We had family in the area who came to visit and there was plenty of parking available. We had a very enjoyable family weekend.
