Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Dakar Region

We loved the Airbnb, especially the tiny and super well equipped kitchen, the terrace with sea breeze and the closeness to the surf spot virage!! And: it definitely has the most comfortable bed in town! Also: perfect communication and immediate help for everything we could hope for! Thanks again Maïté !!

The apartment was spotless, very clean and perfectly as described. Hosts were very welcoming, available and helpful throughout our stay. Accommodation very well connected by public transport, the bus stop is 200 m away. I would highly recommend this accommodation!

Thanks a lot to Omar!! He was very helpful, proactive and nice. He didnt mind the late-night Check-in due to a massive delay with the bus from Gambia and even prepared food and drinks so we won't go hungry! The Guesthouse is very nice, cozy and tidy and the beds are really comfy! Everyone enjoyed the stay and would come back anytime!

This was my third week at Daphnes, just kept extending our stay because it just has everything we needed and more. I liked the space, the house was cool and airy enough we didn’t use the aircon or fans. I’m quite a foodie and the kitchen is perfectly adequate to make delicious meals from local ingredients. The blender/ hob/ oven all fine. Plenty of cutlery and crockery , bakeware, serving platters and gadgets. Fridge/freezer nice and large. Coffee percolator- 🙏Thank you. Abundance of options for dining, breakfast on the covered patio, lunch & afternoon tea in the front garden. Dinner at the dining table either on the main floor or in the first floor lounge/ diner den( has sink)overlooking sea. I haven’t slept and relaxed so well in years. So many little extra touches that just made the stay so good. A real homely stay for peace and tranquility. Loved the hula hoop!!!! I’m sure I will return.

My stay with my little family was great, the villa met my expectations. I enjoyed a lot with my family. Everything was spotless. Special mention to the caretaker Armando, who anticipated our every need. He helped us a lot and was very responsive and helpful. i recommend Villa Keur Yaye Fatou. i would not hesitate to come back. Wonderful stay at Valerie's house on the island of Ngor! The place is charming and well equipped (fridge + electricity with solar panels + barbecue) with a large living room and a beautiful garden that has a spacious and airy terrace. The city center is easy to access by taxi + canoe (the connections are regular and to order) and the pollution or heat is less felt on the island because there is a little wind (very pleasant, especially in the evening! +++) Valerie is a very welcoming host who made sure our stay went as smoothly as possible. The caretaker of the house on site is a Senegalese with whom we have linked a real bond of friendship. He makes sure the house lacks nothing and helped us find good places and weekend ideas. We are very happy to have chosen this accommodation and highly recommend it! Theophile Pajot

This place is exceptional- huge and beautiful home, pristine, gorgeous inside and out. The pool and terraces are really special, the sea view is beautiful. The hosts were so friendly, efficient and helpful, the guards always there and really helpful. The housekeepers did an excellent job and were really amiable. This is a great location to explore Dakar and its surroundings - out of the city centre but easy enough to get in, and the motorway is a 5 minute drive. Somone lagoon is a must-see. Thank you so much for a wonderful base for our holiday.

As a woman traveling alone, it was a great experience. They are so supportive and somebody is there for any issues all the time. very concerned and responsive. They even called me a taxi when I arrived late at night, and helped me to find an airport shuttle and allowed a late check-out when my flight was cancelled. Lovely people, lovely stay. The apartment is very clean, has WiFi and an AC. It's a 4 minute walk to the beach.

Chanda's place is exactly how she describes it. It was a little bit difficult to find, bit this also had to do that we drove ourselves and it was night when we arrived. She is very responsive and kept helping us. The view is stunning and Chanda is a great host. We had breakfast with her every morning, but this did not feel forced. The location is great, the beach and the hotel are very close. We would recommend this to every one. Many thanks to Chanda!

Madame Zeinab is a generous and welcoming host! She was communicative and made sure I had everything that I needed. I really enjoyed the neighborhood and the location, right in the middle of Medina. The apartment was well equipped for either a long or short term stay. And the femme de ménage, Marie, is absolutely lovely. I recommend Madame Zeinab’s apartment to all!

Thank you for hosting me and for the stay I had in this fully equipped cottage. You should just think about clearing the fridge of ants because it hasn't been used for a long time and change the pillows.

Pre-departure communication, key handover support, cleanliness, cleaning, and equipment are not the only benefits. There is a (quick) response to any questions. The accommodation is large and has a spacious and equipped kitchen. The secure terrace also makes it possible to make and dry the laundry. Not far from the main road in a modern and illuminated area, close to shops, shops and a restaurant [that's to take away too]. The property of this modern accommodation with a beautiful view advises and also offers solutions for transport and allows you to live independently, whether as a couple or family.

Jacquie is a very welcoming, warm and friendly host. She is very available if there is anything you need, and is also accommodating. It was a real pleasure to stay with her during part of our trip. Just remember to bring good earplugs because there is a mosque in the neighborhood, so it can wake you up. The apartment is cute, and good location. I recommend it!!
