Youssef's hostel is really located in the perfect place, right next to the hike that starts in the gorges (monkey fingers) and that's what we wanted! Youssef hosted us very warmly, and we had a large room with views of the valley. It is not the luxury of modern hotels, but it is more authentic, the cleanliness is impeccable, the welcome warm, it suited us perfectly! Youssef also recommended 2-3 restaurants in the evening to go to dinner. Anyway, if I go back to the area, that's where I'll go!

Very nice stay. After a little hesitation to find the citadel, we were conquered by the place and the terrace offering an incredible view of the surroundings. The meals were very good and the employees thoughtful and helpful. We were even lucky enough to have a little improvised percussion concert! This stay was also an opportunity to meet great people. I would recommend it

Mehdi and his acomodation are absolutely fantastic. Both personal and professional. Mehdi went out of his way to acomodate us. I was travelling with my mother and my wife. They were both thrilled by the food, the service, and the accommodation. We are truly appreciative of our stay and highly recommend it.

We had a great time with Lahcen. He welcomed us as friends. He advised and supported us, taking into account our needs and abilities. Our walk with him in the valley of roses was beautiful and suitable for our children. The discovery of the region was also made with the visit of a baker who bakes his bread on river pebbles over a wood fire, as well as a distillery that showcases rose water and orange blossom: superior quality. These visits were at our request and not a product placement as in big cities. We'll be happy to go back to this beautiful tastefully renovated earth house and its sublime view. The other guests present shared the same opinion. Rachid is a great cook!! We think this stage of our trip between Fez and Marrakech was the most beautiful and we regret not having stayed longer... The house is located on the heights of the palm grove close to the ruins of old dwellings. The location is great! Mustafa is a very welcoming and very kind host. Special mention for the dinner which was really very tasty! Thank you very much for having a good time

Really happy to have stayed at Catherine’s place. She runs the B&B together with her husband and they do an absolutely fantastic job! They are both very hospitable and make you feel right at home. Couldn’t have asked for more. The compound is secluded and therefore very quiet and peaceful. The room itself is super tidy and clean, with a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent! Would definitely stay again. Thank you Catherine and Pierre!

What a fabulous and beautiful spot! Abdou and his family are so friendly and kind , smiling! Their delicious food and Abdou makes us discover the palm grove, the old Kasbah during a walk explains us Moroccan life! Its garden is superb as well as the comfortable rooms, everything is well thought out! I'm already bored of them and their home! I would have stayed there for a quiet week without any problem! Thank you for your warm welcome!

Had a great stay here !! Beautiful place and such friendly hosts. Food was really lovely and we had a nice warm welcome. Very beautiful surroundings. Hosts were very helpful and got us a guide for the Atlas Mountains and organised us dinner and lunch! Highly recommended from two 21 year olds travelling Morocco!!

At Maxi and Rachid's, you feel at home… they are incredibly kind hosts! We loved chatting with them and spending time together! The room was perfect and the riverfront environment and being able to walk to the gorge is a plus! And their meals are delicious! Thanks 🙏

Very nice hotel. Becomes especially cosy and special at night dinner had a lovely atmosphere. Rooms are super clean and nicely decorated. Fantastic food and friendly staff. Small pool on the roof and some loungers. Room had a private terrace overlooking the garden where it was nice to relax.

The place is very nice and there is nothing missing. It is very quiet in a side street but still central to drive to the Dades Gorge and take hikes. Mooad, the co-host, took great care of us and was very attentive. We took him on a hike away from tourism, where he explained and showed us a lot and thought of everything there again. For example, we took a tea break at a beautiful viewpoint:) Anir or Mooad also give you super much information outside of the excursions and you can always ask anything at any time. We felt totally comfortable there and would definitely go back.

Ahmed and his family are super nice and kind! They welcome us to their home with open hends and a warm heart. Super grateful for this! We got to know so much about the culture and the surrounding thanks to Ahmed and his brother. The location cannot be better, beautiful view and walking trails starting right from the house. A one-night stop to discover the gorges of Toudra before the desert. Hmed found us kindly welcomed with tea. The view from the room and restaurant is SUBLIME! The meal was very good. Hmed showed us the way to visit the palm grove just down and it was super pretty. Thanks to him. I would recommend:)

I took a risk and booked this place with it only having one review, but I am so glad that I did!! Aziz was a great host - super kind and really helpful when I wasn’t exactly sure how to get there and ended up arriving later than I’d thought. The room was great and there is a lovely terrace with views out over the mountains. And I was given breakfast in the morning. Totally recommend!! ☺️
