Do not hesitate to book your vacation at Valentina’s home. Yes, the pictures are accurate. It has been in her family since being built by her grandfather in 1904. We felt right at home immediately. The beauty of the home and surroundings is remarkable. Valentina’s English is good so that makes for easy communication. She is very accommodating and warm. If you arrive after a long journey, she has tomato sauce and pasta so you can prepare yourself a simple meal. The ocean has a wonderful shoreline, the town has restaurants and lots of seating outside for simple espresso and gelato. There are places to drive to and explore. Ask her about Bardo a wonderful market just south of Pizzo. You can get all your supplies there. Valentina has amazing lemons growing and will teach you how to make a frozen lemon treat. A great vacation for anyone, especially if you are from a dreary place like Portland, Oregon!

The views here are somehow even better than pictured, worth it for that alone. The apartment matches the photos, the furnishings are spartan but have everything you need for a short stay where you're probably mostly out anyway. The walk into town along the main road has some tight spots without a sidewalk but you can also take the longer walk along the beach. In our group of 4 there were 2 that were woken up by the train and also wished the beds were softer so keep your personal preferences in mind. Minor suggestions would be adding wifi, some extra towels, and regular non-stemmed drinking cups in the home. From the start communication with Francois was excellent, despite some plans outside of his control changing he was proactive on making sure we were able to get checked in with the very friendly housekeeper which worked out perfectly despite the language barrier. If we ever have a chance we would stay again.

I can’t say enough good things about Maria’s place in Pizzo. It was easy to find with a wonderful view of the sea and Stromboli. The apartment is extremely clean and well furnished. We enjoyed having aperitivi outside and appreciated how there were no stairs to contend with with luggage. The apartment is a 5-10 minute walk from Pizzo Marina which has lovely restaurants as well. Maria is a lovely and helpful host.

Modern und sehr saubere eingerichtete Ferienwohnung , direkt am Strand/Meer. Ausblick ist sensationell. Francesco ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber,der sehr bemüht ist ,den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Für Fragen und Wünsche hat er immer ein offenes Ohr. Sehr zu empfehlen!

We had a wonderful time in the apartment. Even though, it was a bid small for 4 adults with a baby (our fault) we felt at home right away. There is a lot of space outside but when it gets colder ( we traveled in October) or if you have rain it gets a bid tight inside. The apartment is perfectly equipped and has everything you need. There even was showering gel, coffee, water and a Prosecco waiting for us. I think I have never been in an air bnb that was so well organized and perfectly equipped. The baby bed was already installed even though we have not talked about it, very thoughtful. It was super clean and the communication was fabulous. Adina did send us lots of informations and recommendations while we were therer and did answer directly when we had Questions. You need a car to get there and to get around and the entrance to the house is a tiny bid tricky but our car was quit big so probably no problem with a Fiat 500. We absolutely can recommend.

There is so much to say about the cottage in Marina di Zambrone! Frank is responsive and answered all of our questions. Check in was straightforward and we worked with the wonderful Salvatore, who is a joy. He is kind and helpful. He assisted with all of our needs and was happy to answer any question we had. He took his time touring the cottage, he gave helpful suggestions about restaurants and sights to see and escorted us to a local supermarket so that we could get stocked up. The space itself is beautiful. Pristine, clean and well appointed. Looks just as it does in the photos. We enjoyed the quiet, secluded surroundings and loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings to talk about our day. The view is glorious and one that we'll always remember. When it came time to sleep, the beds were comfy and having air-conditioning was much appreciated. We highly recommend this little gem.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet. Mario und Natalia haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Es gab extra Kuchen und limoncello, beides sehr köstlich. Ebenfalls war der Kühlschrank mit Milch und Saft gefüllt, Kaffeekapseln,Wasser und Tee sowie Marmelade alles vorhanden. Der Strand ist super. Wir haben gar icht viel anderes gemacht. Dort zu schnorcheln war genial .

Wenn wir wieder in dieser schönen Region Ferien machen, würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder die schöne gepflegte Ferienwohnung bei Teresa buchen. Das ganze Haus, auch mit der Garage, der Terrasse und dem Pool war gepflegt und Teresa eine sehr hilfsbereite freundliche Gastgeberin. Im Dorf konnte man zu Fuss freundliche gute Restaurants und Cafés erreichen und die schönen Strände der Region sind auch nicht weit.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights in the month of Ocotber. The apartment is cute! It has a full kitchen as well as two bedrooms. The second bedroom only has single beds, in which we did not use. The shower is quite small and if you are overweight you may have trouble for the shower ( we did not have any issues). There is a washer as well which is very convenient! The location of this apartment is perfect, it's situated right next to the stairs to get down to the beach, and 2-3 mins walk to the centre. The sunset from the balcony is stunning. I recommend this place! Thank you Lina !

I spent close to 2 weeks recently at Laura’s place and I must say I found the home to be pleasantly immaculate in every way. The pictures she posted of the homes interior were just the way I found it upon my arrival. Everything was operational, modern, up to date, sanitary, convenient with the use of electronic keys, gate openers and WiFi; the place was obviously well kept. Although not absolutely necessary, a car is very helpful to get about for shopping and enjoying the nearby beaches as it is very pleasantly secluded and quiet. I hope everyone doesn’t rush out too often and too long to stay at this place, as I will be looking to come back for future visits if the home is available…thank you very much Laura!

Wir haben zwei Wochen in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung verbracht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Die Wohnung war sauber, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit allem was man benötigt. Grosse gemütliche Terrasse zum verweilen. Die Kommunikation mit Antonio war sehr gut. Egal welches Anliegen, er hat sofort geholfen. Der Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe mit einem wunderschönen Meer. Wir empfehlen diese Wohnung wärmstens. Wir haben uns wirklich zu Hause gefühlt. Nur zu empfehlen. Danke auch an die Eltern von Antonio, die uns sehr herzlich empfangen haben und jeder Zeit wenn nötig, geholfen haben.

Soggiorno fantastico. Io e la mia comitiva di amici abbiamo adorato l’alloggio proposto da Mike e Nerissa. La casetta ha tutti i comfort necessari per soggiorni a breve e lungo termine. My wife and I vacationed in Italy for 6 weeks. For our last 2 weeks we stayed in Tropea. We were not disappointed! Giulio's apartment was spacious and very clean. The bed is comfortable. The place is right in the town with lots of restaurants and shops. The beach is less than a 10 minute walk. The beach is amazing. The water is crystal clear. We swam everyday. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the train station, so if you're not traveling by car it is very convenient to do day trips to other towns like Pizzo or Scilla (which we did!) When we arrived in Tropea we were met at the apartment by a young man who got us into the apartment and showed us how everything works and answered all our questions. Giulio is a wonderful host! He was always immediately responsive and gave many recommendations. Tropea is a lovely coastal town! We walked everywhere as we explored the town and the locals are very friendly. We would love to return and rent Giulio's place again!!

Wir hatten eine Woche in Angelo‘s Unterkunft. Diese ist traumhaft gelegen und der Blick auf das Meer ist atemberaubend. Die Unterkunft ist klein aber fein und alles ist vorhanden was man für eine Woche benötigt . Angelo hat uns herzlich begrüßt und uns einige Köstlichkeiten zur Verfügung gestellt was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Es könnte etwas mehr Möglichkeiten geben um Sachen aufzuhängen, zB. Wandhaken oder so. Ansonsten wirklich sehr zu empfehlen für ruhesuchende. Vielen Dank und alles Gute. Viele Grüße aus der Schweiz.

The flat is lovely and has everything one might need. It is just a short walk away from the beach/sea, center of town and supermarket. Francesco was a lovely host, very accommodating and gave us great recommendations- would highly recommend il convivio! Would definitely stay there again!

We had a great time! Elizaveta was very friendly and always available to help us out. Elio even found a parking spot for us and dropped us off in front of the appartment with our luggage. Both of them went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had a great time. The appartment is in the middle of the historic center and is very cute. You have everything that you need there and everything is in walking distance. I highly recommend!

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

Das Haus von Andrea liegt traumhaft schön am Meer, mit einem direkten Zugang zum Strand. Man hat einen freien Ausblick auf Meer, den Stromboli am Horizont und jeden Abend einen Sonnenuntergang. Die Ausstattung ist schlicht, wie in Italien oft üblich, aber sauber und ordentlich. Die Umgebung ist im Oktober schon sehr ruhig, hin und wieder schleicht ein Katze vorbei, man ist komplett ungestört und kann die Ferien genießen. Zum Haus gehört ein Garagenstellplatz, nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Eine Bar und ein paar Restaurants sind zu Fuss in ca 5 Minuten erreichbar. Pippo, der Vater von Andrea, kümmert sich sehr liebevoll, um alle Belange vor Ort, sei es eine Frage zur Umgebung, wo man etwas bekommen kann, etwas funktioniert nicht oder auch nur ein Schwätzchen über das Wetter. Er ist stets erreichbar und freut sich helfen zu können. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Such a wonderful location with stunning views away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to Tropea by car. Parghelia itself is a charming little town with restaurants and small shops to get what you need. The pool and grounds were perfectly looked after and the apartment was comfortable with everything we needed to look after ourselves. Outdoor private area and terrace were just perfect. We loved i and would love to come again....

Die Unterkunft von Rachael in Pizzo ist super, wirklich das am besten ausgestattete AirBnB in dem wir je waren. Es gab nicht nur alles übliche, sondern außerdem Sonnenschirme, Stühle und Handtücher für den Strand, eine Kühltasche, Wäscheklammern, Kartenspiele und Reiseführer! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, da alles sehr schön hergerichtet und sauber war. Rachael war auch super nett, einfach zu erreichen und hat uns einen Tipp fürs Abendessen gegeben der goldwert war (Chilli Pepper). Alles in allem kann ich die Unterkunft wirklich sehr empfehlen! Vielen Dank nochmal an Racheal:)

Abbiamo trascorso le vacanze di Natale nel prezioso appartamento di Giulia. Bello, accogliente, luminoso e dotato di tutto il necessario per spendere anche qualche giorno. Vicinissimo a tutti i luoghi d’interesse della zona come Capo Vaticano, Zambrone e Vibo Valentia e sopratutto vista mare assicurata. Giulie è stata una host super reattiva e disponibile. È di certo Il posto dove tornerei sicuramente durante l’estate. Ho literalmente adorato questo alloggio, letto comodissimo e zona ben servita. Grazie ancora Giulia❤️

Daniela ist eine sehr liebenswerte und erfahrene Gastgeberin. Das sehr saubere Apartment ist umgeben von einem großräumigen, liebevoll gepflegten Garten. Wir waren auch dankbar die Waschmaschine benützen zu dürfen. Vielen Dank

The view from the balcony was wonderful! The pictures of this apartment don’t do it justice. The balcony was big enough for two to enjoy coffee or wine. Really felt like a local but had enough restaurants around. Everything was walkable up and down hill. The apartment was not so big, but very comfortable for two. Can’t say much about how the kitchen worked, because who wants to cook when so much Italian food is at your doorstep? However, we were there the day many things closed down at the beginning of November. Still, we found good places to eat. Would recommend this apartment.

We drove down from Rome and needed a place to stay for one night to break up the drive. We were sad it was only one night- Pizzo is adorable, the food was amazing, and since we were there off-season, it was pretty quiet. The apartment was clean and very tastefully decorated. The family all came out to meet us (even the dog!) and to make sure we were comfortable. The two recommendations they gave us (restaurant and gelateria) were both PERFECT! Will come back to stay longer next time...

Piękne miejsce oddalone od gwaru miasta. Jest kawałek ogrodu do dyspozycji gości. Dom czysty i zadbany. W pobliżu piękne plaże. Domenico zawsze pomocny i komunikatywny. Polecamy dla gości z samochodem którzy szukają spokoju i odpoczynku.
