If you are lucky enough to get a reservation TAKE IT. This place is a gem. 100m from the sea, within walking distance of everything and spotlessly clean. It is very well appointed and tastefully decorated. The pool and barbecue were a bonus. JC really is "the host with the most" and is friendly and extremely helpful. We can't wait to return.

I really enjoyed the stay and could not recommend this Airbnb more! The communication was easy and fast and the apartment is stunning. If I ever want to go back to Flic en Flac, I will rent this Airbnb again!

Our family of 5, including a 4 yr child had a terrible stay! The checkin and checkout timing was flexible! We arrived late at 7 pm and the host couldn’t welcome us in person. Instead they had the welcome meal left for us and greeted us the next morning! The location is outstanding you have a private access to the beach, a pool. My daughter loved the beach as it was easy to swim and under the rocks there were plenty of small sea creatures to view! Rooms were well described and clean! We used the kitchen and they everything we need to cook including sauce, oil and spices. The snorkeling equipment left in the room was a surprise. Stephanie’s place left us a great experience in our first time Mauritius visit!

The place is very nice and the hosts are very nice. We felt very comfortable. Everything important can be reached on foot. There was nothing to complain about.

Stayed at Bertrand’s place for 4 day with my children. Bertrand was an extremely helpful and kind host and even allowed for an earlier check-in which saved us a lot of hassle and meltdown from our children especially after a long flight!!! The house was relatively easy to find and is right on the bank of Black River in a quite neighbourhood. It had all the amenities as shared by Bertrand and anyone would require. The kitchen is very well equipped, the rooms/bathrooms were sparkling clean and the pool was refreshing after a day excursion! The area has a few good eateries and groceries store accessible by car. Overall a fantastic experience! Would surely visit again and recommend it 10/10!

Beautiful apartment, stylishly and comfortably furnished with block out curtains for late risers. Lovely pool and beautiful view from the deck. Fred was extremely responsive and helpful . All in all ten out of ten !

Pascal’s place was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The space was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had everything we could have possibly needed. Pascal went above and beyond to make our stay special—welcoming us with a lovely fruit basket, providing all the amenities you could possibly need for a great day at the beach, and so many extra touches that made all the difference. The place itself is in a really quiet area with lots of wildlife (birds, bats, lizards) around. The pool has an incredible view and served us well during rainy spells, as we never felt like we were stuck indoors. Also worth mentioning - the fridge provides filtered water and ice cubes, so no need to go out and but water. Beyond the fantastic amenities, Pascal himself was an outstanding host—responsive, friendly, and always ensuring we had the best experience. This was hands down one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had. Thank you, Pascal!

This was our second stay at Shangri-La, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. Francine’s stunning villa is truly a gem, and we’re already looking forward to staying here again someday. Francine is an exceptional host - warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with any questions or needs. Shangri-La holds a special place in our hearts as the setting for so many wonderful memories. The villa itself is beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped with an array of amenities, making for an incredibly comfortable and hassle-free stay. The location only adds to its charm, offering a serene and almost magical atmosphere that makes it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning on the patio, swimming in the sea, or simply soaking in the tranquility, this place has a unique way of rejuvenating the soul. We had the most magical stay at Asvin’s villa. Waking up to such a breath taking view every morning was surreal. The villa is gorgeous and lived up to our expectations. Felt like we were at a hotel at times as cleaners came regularly and changed our sheets too! What a truly beautiful space, we shall definitely be coming back!

This home was magical. My partner and I were looking for a home away from home, and we got beyond that. We wanted a big spacious place, away from the buzz, but not too far from tourist attractions, and at the right price. The description of the home and the estate is 100%. Magic spoon restaurant served the best food we had in Mauritius, plus their service was out of this world with very friendly staff. We had Asha come clean and tidy up our home during our stay, which was great, ‘cos it allowed us to relax and not to worry too much about chores. She was extremely friendly and respectful. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful with reconnecting top notch things to do around Mauritius. We hired a car, which I would recommend if you are familiar with similar driving laws. Having our car allowed us to go to a lot of places, with the furthest bring 45 mins away. The roads are great, and easy to drive on. We thoroughly enjoyed Mauritius and went to all places we wanted!

Very large and spacious housing. There is a multifunctional kitchen with different appliances. Beautiful backyard with sofas and lawn. You can rent a comfortable car for travelling around the island.

Wow, our stay at Albion was nothing short of amazing! We truly felt at home. Alex and Marie-France were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and communicated well throughout our stay. The place itself was spotless with beautiful finishes and had all the amenities we needed. They were super responsive to any questions we had about the area or the home. Highly recommend their place—and them as hosts!

Rajesh's appartment has a beautiful view on the nearby river, you can even have a hint of the sunrise. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The appartment itself is quite convenient, with all amenities, and Rajesh and his wife were very kind to provide some drinks and foodstufs on our arrival. Probably one of the best options for a rental on the east coast.

Great stay! Impeccable 👌 accommodation, warm welcome! The cottage is very nice, very well placed between La Morne and La Gaulette. Delicious restaurant next door, supermarket not far away. Super convenient, well-equipped and comfortable home. Charming hosts, super responsive and good advice! We'll keep the address.

Accommodation was wonderful, close to the beach and shops ! Easily accessible , great loaction and perfect for what we needed. Definitely highly recommend.

I had a very pleasant stay in Dominique's apartment, where I particularly enjoyed the two beautiful gardens, the master bedroom offering great comfort, modernity in general, decor, location in the complex, just a few minutes from restaurants, grocery store, shop, tennis/paddleboarding and golf. Not to mention the proximity to the beach and the beautiful pool + fitness room. I felt quite safe and had a very good relationship with the very nice cleaner, who also prepared on-demand dishes. Dominique was attentive and proactive in the communication of information, very complete, and also offered other services if needed (activities and transport on the island).

A wonderful stay at Dhareena's place, spacious and so peaceful! The neighborhood is very quiet and secure with very good restaurants nearby. The geographical location is really ideal. Dhareena was very responsive in our exchanges and very flexible for our arrival and departure, a big thank you!!! We just note a little effort to be made on the cleaning even if it did not affect our stay. Thanks again!

Our stay here was very pleasant. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and always eager to help. All common areas were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the apartment itself was very comfortable. We had a slight issue with the hot water on the first day, but the hosts responded promptly, resolving it with a smile, even though it was late. The view of the park is lovely and calming, perfect for morning or evening walks. The apartment complex is gated with a security guard, so we felt very safe. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this place.

Such a luxurious quiet apartment. We fitted with all our kids very comfortably and all slept so well every night for a week. Walkable to a great bakery, restaurants and cafe and the pool was so close to apartment which made it very easy. We will definitely be back again as the host and location and apartment were all amazing.

The apartment is as in the photos. The rooms are large and well-equipped so we had a great time as a family. Best were the 2 large pools, with a large non-swimmer area (60cm deep). Our daughter learned to swim there. The location is also very good for walking on the enchanting beach. We'll be back Best, Falk

The apartment was dreamy. Better than the pictures. Like in Paradise. The hosts are very helpful. Supermarkets and restaurants are accessible by car. In the well-equipped kitchen, you can also cook wonderfully for yourself. Special plus: cleaned 3 times a week. Luxury! We were very satisfied.
