We really enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable stay at Des Terrasses in Fresseline. The accommodation was very reasonably priced and well equipped and we felt we could live in it, rather than worry about decor. It was great to have a cold beer waiting for us and to be invited to make considerate use of condiments etc. Communication with the host was excellent and Michèle the manager was available if needed. The house is well positioned in a beautiful setting - I would recommend staying here.

Jolie petite maison et petit jardin mignon. Reste fraîche quand il fait chaud dehors. Conforme aux photos. Le hameau est paisible. La literie est confortable. Tous services à 20min (Auzances). Jolie région a découvrir jusqu'à Aubusson (superbe cité internationale de la tapisserie) et Boussac au nord (40/45 min).

We stayed at the farmhouse near the lake Vassivière for 2 weeks . In total we were 2 couples with 2 children each and 8 in total. We had a truly wonderful and glorious summer holiday..The farmhouse is located in a small hamlet of 4 houses at the end of a no through road. It was safe for the children to cycle and explore as there was no traffic except for the postman. The house is lovely and rustic but both very cosy and comfortable with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. On the 2nd floor there is a huge attic space with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. My family stayed there and my friends with their 2 children on the the floor below which had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Lake Vassivière is a 10 minute drive and is a huge unspoilt beautiful lake. It's perfect for swimming, boating, windsurfing, fishing etc. Some days we went to the main beaches while other days we found our own secluded spots. We spent a lot of the holiday walking in the gorgeous unspoilt countryside, cycling along off road tracks or more often than not relaxing on the many beaches at the lake .There is a fully off road cycle track around the lake or a long walk! The house and location is perfect for nature lovers There is no wifi so we were pleased to get the children away from their gadgets for their holiday so they spent their time playing in the large garden or making camps. The owner Chris was easy to contact for advice and there were a selection of bikes, games & table tennis available etc. The best restaurant is in Royère-de-Vassivière ( 5 minutes from the lake & called L'Atelier) - it has excellent food, a small shop, a bar and bar games (there is wifi if you need it!). There are numerous other snack bars and restaurants based around the lake which are all good and inexpensive. It was the most relaxing holiday we have had for years but most important all 4 children had a really fantastic time and want to come back next year.

Karine et Pascal nous ont très bien accueillis dans leur très belle maison. Le petit déj' était copieux et les confitures faites maison ! Nous recommandons.

Séjour très agréable chez Magali grâce à la qualité de son accueil, amical , attentif. Sa jolie maison entourée d'arbres et de près fleuris est un havre de paix où l'on prend le temps de se parler et d'écouter le chant des oiseaux !

Séjour très agréable dans cet appartement propre bien équipé . Un très bon accueil nous a été réservé . Frigidaire bien garni et petits déjeuners pour tous les goûts . Situation centrale à proximité des commerces et restaurants Bon couchage dans un grand lit Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine . Très bonne adresse pour les vacances .

Très bon séjour à Guéret. Isabelle est une hôte agréable et ses indications sont claires. Le descriptif de l'annonce correspond bien à ce que l'on a sur place. Agréable de se promener dans les petites rues de la vieille ville (même sous la pluie) sur les conseils d'Isabelle. N'hésitez pas ......

Ce lieu est magique , le réveil avec le chant des oiseaux et des ânes un bonheur ! Coline Et Jéhan sont charmants et plein de courage , bonne cuisine avec des produits de qualité ! Repas aménagé selon nos désirs, ( végétarien ) La literie confortable. Je suis ravie d’avoir fait ce choix 👍

Fabulous stay in a beautiful location. The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. A real treat. The photos do not do it justice! Would highly recommend.
