"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Si-Fonic Studio, a recording studio in the 1990s and early '00s, is now converted to a self contained unit in the garden behind a stately Federation home and has the charm of music from days gone by. The studio is situated in a quiet part of town close to amenities with a short walk to the city centre. There is off street parking and independent access to the accommodation.
