Patrick is a great host. Very responsive, clear and helpful. The house is lovely and has great views and privacy. Would definitely stay here again.

People often say pictures do not do it justice. .. that is genuinely the case with this amazing getaway treasure. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and feeling of peace. The room, scenery, and spa area exceeded expectations. The small touches are everywhere, and you can just tell by talking to the hosts how passionate they are about this slice of heaven they call home. Walks along the lake are tranquil and serene, while the wood-burning stove in the room provides an amazing cozy atmosphere. Sitting in the hottub gazing at the stars and then enjoying a steam in the sauna was so lovely. I would return to this luxury spot in a heartbeat. More than highly recommend.... don't miss out!

Geraldine was so helpful for the day before my wedding where we stayed in the lovely Lakehouse! Everything was so clean and the house was very spacious to utilise for getting ready! I would highly recommend Geraldine and the Emyvale Lakehouse for a place to stay! Thanks again Geraldine

The host was friendly and welcoming without being over the top, which suited us well. The cottage is in a great location—close to all amenities and right next to the garage, but still quiet, which we appreciated. The house was adequate for our stay, with a good layout of rooms and a warm, cosy feel.

We loved staying at Charlie's place - we wish we could've stayed longer. A beautiful, clean, cosy and peaceful place to stay. Loved the little additional touches in the kitchen to make the stay comfortable. Charlie is very lovely and helpful. Lucky the dog was a great host too!

Had a lovely stay at rose cottage. The place was lovely and clean. The host had a book with lots of recommendations and helpful suggestions! Instructions for finding the place and check in were great! Would definitely recommend for a peaceful stay.

Had a lovely weekend away with our lil doggy. We wanted a lazy weekend and this place was perfect with a cinema screen, the sound system was unreal honestly felt like a cinema. Will definitely be back ☺️

Ross and Orlas Room14 is really fabulous! From the moment we arrived, the sense of calm and serenity was immediately apparent. The space was quiet and peaceful, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life with beautiful forest walks only a short drive away. The interior was cosy and thoughtfully designed, with every detail carefully considered to enhance comfort and convenience. The furnishings were not only stylish but also incredibly comfortable, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail, from the furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen with every utensil and gadget you could need. Even the little touches, like the home made bread, apple juice and dog treats, made a huge difference and added a personal, welcoming touch to the experience. The property was impeccably clean and we left feeling completely refreshed, we can't recommend this property highly enough

Extremely lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Joanna was very helpful and gave lots of recommendations. We had a small issue with one of the bathrooms but it was resolved very quickly. Such a lovely, peaceful place!

Couldnt fault the cottage, clean and warm and everything you needed provided. Appreciated the scones on arrival. Fiona was very accommodating and got back to me very quickly any time i had a question. Would recommend.
