This was the most amazing place to stay. We felt right at home and Sonia was simply wonderful! Everything was just what we expected and more. We greatly appreciated the breakfast items she left for us as well! To be honest, this was the best Air B&B experience we’ve ever had. WONDERFUL. Hotel clean newly renovated, spacious and modern. Beautiful stove with turf and logs, really a dream, rarely find this in commercial hotels/restaurants and I’ve travelled a lot. Quality pressed bed linen. Everything thought of for a really lovely stay. Fantastic hosts; so responsive, welcoming and helpful. 5* Airbnb. Lovely views 180 degrees to the front, farm to the rear, easy to reach all the Kerry sites and into cork. Couldn’t fault anything. Loved milk and few provisions for arrival, so thoughtful and smart TV. Fabulous stay.

Cannot speak highly enough of this retreat, from the country side views, to the peaceful location down to the finest details a retreat to be remembered. Michael and Roise were superb hosts, made us feel right at home. They have a fantastic set up, from plung pool, sauna and hot tub everything you need to relax. Cannot recommend highly enough. A retreat to be remembered.

Kevin was a wonderful and super responsive host. Made everything about stay so easy and flexible. It was the perfect house for my husband, 2 kids (age 14,10) and my mother who cannot do stairs so the downstairs bedroom and bath were perfect. The house was cozy and private and our favorite part was waking up to see beautiful fields full of cows out the window. We would stay again!

Purtill Farm Cottage, a half door thatch cottage

This lovely cottage is in a beautiful and quiet setting. The three double bedrooms are spacious and there's plenty of room for six adults to hang out in the sitting room. The cottage itself is about 4km from Adare village, but no problem getting taxis. Nicola gave us some recommendations for places to eat out, and shared a number for a taxi driver. There was an issue with the heating when we arrived, but they were straight up to light the fire for us and give us plug-in heaters - and shortly after got the heating system up and running. We loved our stay there, and would absolutely recommend it.

We loved our stay in the cottage on David’s farm. It is compact, but with spacious bedrooms, each with a bathroom. It is oozing with charm, and decorated beautifully, with many of his mother’s lovely watercolors. Both of them helped us so much, with phone dialing and restaurant reservations and friendly chat. It’s just outside of the charming town of Adare, which is buzzing, so it’s especially nice to be removed into the peace and quiet of the large farm, on which you are free to roam and commune with the cattle. Wonderful!

Olive and Liam were very friendly and welcoming. The guest house is cosy and comfortable with everything you need. The village is a short walk where you can get food. We enjoyed Clancy's bar for a drink. Olive brought us fresh, warm scones for breakfast, which was a treat.

Una and John are great hosts. We loved our stay at their place and we'll definitely stay there again. They were very flexible with check in times, had a lovely bottle of wine and mince pies waiting for us as well as breakfast supplies. The house was perfect. Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit dans le logement de Margie mais c'était vraiment très bien. La maison est située au calme, à distance de la route et de la circulation. La maison est très jolie et aménagée avec goût. Elle est grande, c'était idéal pour nous cinq. Margie communique très bien et est réactive. Nous recommandons ce logement !
