Beachfront vacation rentals in County Galway

What an absolutely stunning location. We enjoyed 4 days here with plenty of sea swimming and walks. The house itself was just perfect, beautifully designed and furnished, with every thing we needed. It was warm and welcoming. The bedding was particularly luxurious. Catherine was a fantastic host, giving us space and also very responsive to messages and proactive with communications. We very much enjoyed the fabulous sea views and being surrounded by breath taking nature. The house is a very short drive to the gorgeous little village of Roundstone (where there is the most fab little coffee shop!) and only about 20 minute drive into the bigger town of Clifden. There is so much to see and do in the area and the house was also perfect for lounging in the comfy armchairs and reading books. We can't fault our stay - 10 stars from us! Thank you Catherine. We would absolutely love to return!!

A unique coastal property where we enjoyed experiencing the wild landscape of west Ireland

had a really good time. salthill is right on the see so beautiful views and the view from the living room in the apartment is spectacular. lots of local pubs dotted around. the apartment was brilliant. 2 good sized bedrooms, one of them en suite. kitchen is a decent size and had everything you need to cook up some food. sitting room was lovely with two big recliner sofas and beautiful vistas. walkable into the city centre if you're a decent walker, it's about 2km and perfectly flat. if you're not or you're with someone who isn't a walker there is a bus just round the corner that takes about 5 mins and is fairly regular. car parking around the area is free but very busy so having a dedicated parking space was great.

We had a wonderful stay in this absolutely gorgeous cottage! It was really spacious, clean and had everything we needed, and the fire was a real plus! The area was beautiful, peaceful and private and just a short walk to a lovely beach. Couldn't recommend this place more and we hope to come stay again in future. Thanks Rebecca!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Lovely views and so peaceful. House was perfect for us - clean and well equipped. The area is so beautiful, with great walks and beaches nearby. Excellent food at Sweet Nothings and at local pubs. Michael was extremely friendly and helpful. Hope to be back.

Our stay was picturesque, and everything we could have hoped for. The homes spacious rooms and many windows made it sinfully easy to sit and spend hours sipping coffee and watching the water and scenery. None of us were prepared to leave when our reservation was over, and I certainly left a piece of my heart among the greenery. T was responsive and helpful, and their recommendations for local experiences were invaluable.

We really enjoyed the location and being able to walk to the beach as well as coffee shops/restaurants. The place was lovely and nice inside. Our internet wasn't working and wasn't able to be fixed in time for us before we left. All in all a great spot and would stay again.

We spent 2 nights at Susan's during our stay in Ireland, everything went very well, the accommodation is functional, clean and in a good location for discovering the region and especially with a magnificent view!

We absolutely loved being able to call this place home during our visit to Ireland. Sheila and Redmond were very responsive and friendly in making sure we had everything we needed and more. The location was beautiful and conveniently walkable to the pier, shops and pubs. Our girls especially loved the little playroom - perfect for our family trip!! We’ll definitely be back!

Water’s Edge is a very spacious comfortable house within easy reach (by car) of Roundstone, Ballyconneely and Clifden. Its setting on the water is incredible with the sunset views particularly memorable. We were a family group of three generations and there was room for everyone to eat together but also space to chill! We would love to visit this house again.

We felt very comfortable in Róisín's tastefully furnished apartment and had a wonderful vacation. The apartment is in a rural quiet location and has a short distance to the beach. It is perfect for excursions in the area of the Burren National Park and other spectacular points on the coast, especially recommended for hikers (a car is necessary). Don’t spend another minute looking and book this beautiful house with the most impressive Atlantic views ever. We loved Barbara‘s home. It was close to Clifton town and perfect for any touring around the Conamara region. It was in a quiet secluded area with killer views and a private beach that my kids loved. I will miss waking up to this view every morning. Thank you for an amazing experience in Connamara.. Clodagh the host were very responsive with instant replies. Thank you and we will come back again someday.

Barbara was a great host. The house was perfect come rain or shine. The Spar shop in Carraroe is only 5 minutes away and was as good as any medium sized supermarket with great choice. Don’t miss the Realt pub if you want a good pint of Guinness

Max and Beatrice have a beautiful cottage home. It was the perfect place for our family of 11 to be…ages 2-66. We truly made some incredible memories. Max had great recommendations for a cute restaurant down the road… We fell in love with everyone’s hospitality the country side!

Our recent stay at this Airbnb property was delightful, and we highly recommend it. The seafront location provided stunning views, enhancing our mornings. The well-equipped kitchen and efficient heating system added to the comfort, while the spacious accommodation easily housed our group of 13. However, some drawbacks surfaced. The lack of a curtain for the studio door compromised privacy. Issues with the hot water supply in the studio and insufficient keys for our group were inconveniences that could be addressed for a better experience. Communication with the host faced delays, impacting responsiveness to inquiries. Cleanliness concerns, such as a dirty cutlery drawer and stained bedsheets, indicated a need for more thorough cleaning and attention to detail. In conclusion, our stay had wonderful moments, but addressing these improvements would elevate the Airbnb property. Despite minor drawbacks, we appreciate our time here and recommend it for those seeking a memorable getaway.

We were two families staying in the house and were very comfortable. The house is very spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. Kinvara is a beautiful town and the nearby surroundings had so much to do! Traught beach was especially lovely where we went for a dip and a sauna. We recommend the place whole heartedly and hope to have the fortune to stay here again in the future!
