The Gables Cottage

Michelle Rating, 5 stars1 day ago
What can I say in ‘words’ about such a beautiful cottage, wonderful location where you can travel in either direction, having such kind, caring and wonderful hosts in Natalie and Marius who both love and adore dogs 🐶 I just want to say a special ‘thank you’, for making my birthday so very special!!! I am a passionate dog owner of the Irish Glen of Imaal breed which is a rare breed, originated in Ireland. So can you just imagine what it’s like to have such wonderful hosts, who makes my trip to visit the GLEN OF IMAAL area where the breed originated - so very special for me 🥰

Stunning Nore Valley Home

StephenRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We only stayed one night but had a lovely family evening in front of a roaring log fire, a great sleep surrounded by total quiet and then a great breakfast looking out across the valley. The Christmas tree and decorations were up and we really liked how the home was both incredibly spacious but also very homely. Loved it all!

Bungalow in Clonegal

ArunRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A great place to stay and spend time with friends and family. Thanks to Josie for hosting us and for maintaining such a lovely place. We enjoyed staying there every bit of it - clean and large house with quality furniture, a fully equipped kitchen and large lawn. All in all a great place to spend time away from cities and towns - at the same time everything you need a 10 min drive away.

Jardiners Cottage

CrystalRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Andrew and Ethel’s place was a great place for our family for our week and a half long stay. We booked last minute and they were very accommodating. The house is private yet only a few minute drive into town. The kitchen was functional. The bathrooms were clean and water was warm. There is an incredible view to the hills and cows which my children loved. There is laundry onsite which was a lovely bonus. Overall, it was exactly what we needed.

We had such a wonderful stay in this house. I feel the photos didn’t do it justice, the house was so beautiful and has so much space. The hosts were very accommodating and very easy to contact when needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Richard is a brilliant host. He is very warm, welcoming and friendly. We booked two double rooms. Both had en-suite facilities. It is a beautiful property set in stunning countryside. The local town is a few minutes walk away. There are lovely traditional pubs, and the locals are great. An excellent base to explore Southern Ireland.

A peaceful, spacious and romantic artist's home

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Michael's place is fantastic. It has gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside and is comprised of two houses connected by a solarium. There are five bedrooms (three in the primary house and two in the smaller house) and plenty of bathrooms, making Michael's place a great choice for a large family or group. The nearby town of Clonegall is a short drive or walkable in nice weather. While we didn't meet Michael, Peter, the house manager, greeted us on arrival with freshly baked bread and eggs from a local farm. Peter was easily contactable and provided us with all the information needed to enjoy our stay. I would highly recommend Michael's place to anyone looking for a large home with plenty of space for relaxing and entertaining.
A cozy living area features two leather sofas, accented with decorative cushions and a soft throw. A glass-topped coffee table is positioned centrally, while a framed nature print adorns the wall. Light enters through a window, highlighting the exposed granite wall.

Dan's Tigín

It was great staying at Maria's place! My dog loved the lovely walks and relaxing by the cozy fire at the end of the day. My 6-year-old son enjoyed the toys and books. My partner and I appreciated the peace, privacy, and comfort, as well as the thoughtful touches, such as coffee, teas, milk, juice, butter, and eco-friendly products. We loved all the small details in the cottage. The location was perfect for exploring the area and enjoying a nice pint of Guinness. Highly recommend!
